I understand about "raging" when playing but this player(wont name him) raged to the point that I never saw before. After team flashing and smoking me every round starting with spawn(and afterwards flashing everyone around me but I was his target)He was so raged to the point that after the admin left(no help there) he started following me around and blocking me(standing in front of me when I was trying to rush far side so I wont be able to see anything) and when he saw that tactic was doing me more good than bad(gotta love these human shields) he used to follow me from behind and when reaching CT spawn or market and when I saw a CT(sneaky guy used his radar) he started flashing me and shoots the ground in front of me so those particles, dust, rocks(whatever it called)trying to deter me from seeing(sometimes it worked and some not). Contacted an admin(dust was down so no help there) when an e(G) switched to T he at least stopped flashing spawn and started following just me.Usually when someone rages it's amusing for some or after raging and leaving you read comments like "haha rage quit". But this rage was particularity sad. It was to a point of harassment (really I don't mind chat or verbal harassment towards me-while it's not racial or derogatory) but when it comes to the game play aspect of the game it's just wrong(not just only towards me but for the other players as well- some players left because it affected their game play too- being flashed to a point of leaving). And to put the icing on the cake he wishes me and I'm quoting " i hate that little punk kid/hope someone fuckin rapes him irl"
Had a spat with another player last year(wont name) and rogue and waterpistol told me in chat to let it be and/or stop responding to them and they were right.Tried it this time but the rage was high in this guy.
What to do in these kind of situations if a admin is not available?Besides quitting the game of course
(didn't get this guy through the roof- higher ranked player than me-got him the old fashion way through farside- probably thought I was frankie)

Attempting to get in contact with an admin via steam chat or teamspeak should be your go to response. Should also record a demo in case the guy leaves when the admin comes on, or if the admin is unable to do anything about the issue. This way you will have evidence for later, and can submit a ban request.

Thanks for the advice. Wouldn't go so far as requesting a ban but a good warning or something in that area. It was rage not extreme foul language(the rape comment was way off though) or hacking. Any good recording apps out there?

Demos can be recording in source games by typing

record name

into console. name can be substituted for whatever you want the name of the demo to be. The stop command (typing stop into console) will stop the recording and save the file. The file will be saved in your cstrike folder as name.dem, and can be viewed ingame via the playdemo or demoui commands.

I can't remember if global admin chat works for non-admins, but if it does (I think it does) you can type # followed by your message in team chat to reach all admins in-game on an eGO CS:S server in case there aren't any present in your server.

I"m fairly sure that '#' is no longer the global admin chat, but '&' is (MAUL2) change.

Yes. The questions were answered.I'll do a dropbox or contact leadership next time(will ask not to ban someone- that's my main concern if reporting and why I'm on the fence in this regard- because it was rage not hacking or vile chat-it was somewhat offensive but not to the point of banning) and yes I used team chat to contact an admin(several players too-one player made a mistake by trying to contact an admin by using chat-not team chat- and when the raged player saw the message he responded by saying I'll be your admin if you want-or something to that degree) but with the dust server down nobody could be reached. The rage part didn't bother me as much but what really disappointed me was that there were approximately 20 players and a 1/3 to 1/2 of them left the game due to this problem(the disruption of the game play not the chat part). The more playing the merrier I say
