For the eGO BC2 server...
I'm sure this has probably been brought up many times, but I thought I'd throw my two-cents in...
Last check the server's ping threshold before kick was set at 400, correct? While this allows more players to be able to connect, at certain times of the day you will have more foreign (outside U.S.) players, especially in the morning, and they will generally have pings above 300.
It has been my experience that when there are a lot of players online with pings above 300 milliseconds (BTW, that is 1/3 of a second! A lot in FPS real time games) the server is so busy trying to sync everything that even players with 20 ping (damn u all! lol) get affected.
Would it be too much to request the server ping threshold be dropped to 350? 300 would be nice, but I think that too many players would end up getting kicked all the time and give up. And 350 would help the majority of players have the best gaming experience.
