Ava #2

Would it be possible to either A) Make the number #2 Avalanche a custom made avalanche map? Perhaps bring some new atmosphere into the mix. Might grab some attention, but it could be worth a shot; or B) Make it a totally rocket only server with either a stock Avalanche or custom Avalanche?

I'm just poking around some ideas as I haven't seen it really gather much attention.

Changing it up down the road might be an idea, but currently we want to keep it the way it is to guage if there is enough interest in it. I have tossed the idea of friendly fire on it at some point as well, or maybe a server that doesn't keep stats.

I like this idea, i have played ava at night time and it was fun imo. Maybe down the road, yeah but its only been up for a month or so.

A Hardcore Night AVA server would be so cool. It would be Frustrating and wonderful all at the same time. Lets do it!

I'm pretty sure there are decent Avalanche custom maps that we could dish out down the road to see what people like. Its ranking right now is better than the current Rotation server at the moment. Personally I love the stats on it; not sure about friendly fire because people are so use to spamming nades. It would be great if we could find an old version of Avalanche from the first DOD into this server because it has greater coverage for allies to move up on the middle. Don't think I've seen one though, sadly.

hello great ideas ive seen dod_avalanche@night which is dod_avlanche at night kinda kool gives it different look can you add the rain effect mayeb the 80 health thats sounds competitive anything else comes to mind will be sure to post .... this is gotta be my favorite map
