I Don't Celebrate St.Patrick's Day
Homemade corned beef. Yeah, I said it; homemade.
Beef brisket, soaked in a 4% salt solution with certain custom herbs and spices for the last ten days.
Tuesday morning it goes into a crock pot perched above some steaming water, where it slowly steams for about six hours. In the fifth hour, put a few red skin potatoes and carrot sticks in the water. With 15 minutes to go rest some cabbage leaves on top.
Now that's St. Patrick's Day!
