I'm expecting to get some flak for saying this, but I'm afraid I have finally realized that CS:S is truly on its very last fumes. We've all seen the replies in my previous thread that Counter Strike 1.6 has a higher population and that has finally proven my statement. However, this division still has a future and I'm asking all to participate in it. This future being CS:GO and, as of this moment, Jail.

I'm asking all of those in our glorious Counter Strike Division to participate with the building of our newest server as may be our last chance to remain a power-player in the CS community. If we only stick with Source, all of our servers, even the mighty Dust_2, will lose its player-base and we may be forced to disband and immigrate to the other divisions. This is why I see Jail as the future and, if it succeeds, we can establish a stronger sphere of influence into GO.

I have discontinued my filling attempts at Office and will instead be offering the same program for Jail. As a reminder of what I was offering suggesting earlier: I would like to establish a regular time to hop onto Jail, bring some friends, and reach at least 20 people a day. For those that give the most effort, I will begin to give out keys and potential skins by April once I have more funds in my Steam account. However, I do not want the desire for some free items to be the main driving force behind this filling initiative. Instead, I wish to offer this division a bright future and allow us to have a great time in the process. You should speak to ZER0C00L the server filling Advisor. You don't need to do this alone since people are already doing this The server filling team currently fills on Thursdays at 9pm EST and it's focus is jail.

I don't see why you should get flak.. for this, since you're trying to help your favorite division of your favorite community online. Best choice is to get in contact with ZER0C00L give him your opinions suggestions and all etc and most of all dropbox any ideas / suggestions in for jail

As a division, we are responsible for taking the steps needed to ensure that CS:GO has eGO stamped into it's server list as a fun, friendly, and mature place for all gamers to come play games with friends. That's what Edgegamers is about, and that's why we are all here. I look forward to expanding into CS:GO with you all, and am here for any concerns you might have regarding our servers' populations. Unknown, the fact that you stepped up when you were concerned about one of our servers rank shows that you truly care about what we have to offer here, and you want to see it succeed, I'm right there with you. I'm in Jail almost daily, and once we get this server up, more will come, and we'll begin the same process with those servers. We'll gain more recruits in the process, as we've already started to, and we'll bring this division that some see as currently built on sand, and solidify our foundation on cement. CS:GO is the next start for our division, as well as our community!

Just my opinion but... Jail would need to be doing extremely well and literally running itself before another CSGO server would be added, and if one is added too earlier it could just destroy our chances of CSGO. Right now it's doing quite well.

I don't think that we should be replacing CSS servers if it came to the point where we could add another CSGO server unless a particular server is dying for example it may be Office is dead all the time and jail is thriving so we can close office and get another CSGO server, but there's no need to close servers that are doing well, we would want to have our eGO faces in CSS and CSGO as much as possible.

For now though the best option is to focus on Jail not look too far forward into adding other servers and keep our italy / dust2 going.

I don't understand the whole "dying" talk. If you keep thinking about it, it might come true. Just think positive and wait it out(it takes time). Once the jail server is sustainable by itself we'll just open another server and focus on the new server while making sure not to neglect jail. It takes time and some effort.

*There should be a sticky at some pointing out the servers(just adding the GO servers first)
