Can you Cross Platform?

I was looking into getting the Orange Box for my PS3 that way me and my roomate can play at the same time beeing that i only have 1 pc. The question is though being that i will be on PS3 and him on PC will we be able to play on the same servers and what not?

Nope. You'd get creamed anyway by someone using a mouse.

PS3, XBOX360 and PC play is all independant from one another. Although it would be awesome to get all playing together, it will never happen

The cross platform idea was dropped at the last minute. It was planned, but didn't happen.

I was wondering this actually. Although I was pretty sure you couldn't. You'd have to have godlike skill on a control pad to keep up with any decent player who's using a mouse!

However I'm sure there are some top console players we're missing out on!

Thanks all... good thing i red this before i whent and got the game I guess if you think about it, you would get creamed by PC players being that PC players have the mouse sensativity and faster turn rates

They have done tests using cross-platform gaming, and every time for each game, the console players got destroyed, so to say. Even skill on each side. Just comes down to the fact that PC gamers have a far bigger advantage because of the keyboard and mouse.

Never mind the customization that can happen on the PC.

If it were to happen the pc players would own or pwn the console players. Cause of the sensitivity of the mouse.
