G'day my fellow Edge Gamers. Today, I'm here to give you some insight on how to have a blasty blast in Jail.

There are many things to do in jail, and this guide will help you have the most fun you can have while enjoying our premium Edge Gamers Jail Server.

I'm going to split this in to three sections, CT's, aka the Warden and Guards, and T's, aka the Prisoners.

Warden:

The key to being a successful Warden is:

  • Give clear and precise commands
Giving clear commands will help cut down on free kills.
  • Keep the flow of the game moving
Keeping a nice flow to the game will help give all players whom are dead a chance to play again in a reasonable time. When doing difficult games, try to set a time to where that game has to be finished.
  • Try to only kill 1-3 (Depending on size of game) Prisoners per game
Killing a large amount of Prisoners per game is not fun. When you have 15 prisoners and in 1 game 10 of them die, that's boring.
  • Dont be afraid to be strict
Sometimes you have to be pretty strict. Meaning, when playing a game and your command is to not move, and someone slightly moves, they have not followed directions. END THEM!
HOWEVER, try not to be that strict all the time, the best times to be strict, is when every round ends with a lot of rabblers.

Guards:

The key to being a successful Guard is:

  • Dont be trigger happy
The goal isn't to get the most kills. The goal is to make sure the game is played fairly, and that the pesky rabblers are executed on site when found!
  • Unless you know that a Prisoner is actively rebelling, be with the Prisoners at all times.
On a map where you know all of the vent exits, you cannot just run there and camp it. You must head to the cell block first to see if anybody is rebelling. This is a major rule that is broken quite a bit, so make sure you understand it!
  • Listen to the Warden
Listen to the exact commands that are given, and do not shoot a Prisoner if you're not sure he's following a command or not.
  • LISTEN TO THE WARDEN

Prisoners:

The key to being a successful Prisoner is:

  • Know when to rebel!
The perfect opportunities will arise quite often. So don't get too knife happy. Be patient. The perfect back-stab opportunity will show its face soon enough.
  • Try to learn the map secrets!
All maps have secrets. Vents. Buttons. Hidden Weapons. Learn and find them!
  • Try to make the round end quickly!
You know it sucks when you're dead and you're waiting for the round to end. So when you're alive, try to end the round quickly. Especially when you're last and you have the LR opportunity.

Welp, that should do it. If you have any suggestions let me know.

[*]Dont be afraid to be strict
Sometimes you have to be pretty strict. Meaning, when playing a game and your command is to not move, and someone slightly moves, they have not followed directions. END THEM!
This ex-captain of the jail defense squadron does not condone this.

Dont be trigger happy
especially when you contradict yourself.

Just going to leave this here

In very simple terms,
kill Ts for things that threaten you or your team, don't kill them for things that don't.

Good and conclusive list. Should show this to any newcomers we get who are new to Jail.
