A long, long time ago (15-16 years ago) when I was just starting to play CS on dialup (ha ha) it seemed like everyone ran around with names like "Rabid Chipmunk With A Chainsaw That Kills You While Laughing" or something equally long winded. So I wanted something short, simple, memorable.

So I was sitting there thinking about what to call myself while my brother is listening to "Amish Paradise" over and over and over. There's a line from the song "Even Ezekiel thinks my mind is gone!" I liked it and now it feels as much my name as the one my parents gave me.

I got the nickname Jolt back in elementary for two reasons, I ran really fast and I loved Jolteon. It just stuck around pretty much all the way to college since it had become my gaming handle as well! The 387 has a special meaning to me from a book that I write and keep personal. :3

Album from a punk-rock band, came up with it when I was joining eGO back in 08, I used to change my online alias a lot. I've become pretty attached to this one, mostly because it's easy to shorten to mob or mobi.

Got to meet the band that inspired my name a year later, in 09, and now consider them friends. Great people.

Other. When my brother gave me his steam account, this was the profile name already on it and I stuck with it.

Mine comes from me being a huge fan of hockey. Back when I played America's Army I had a custom bind I used that messaged after a kill that would say. "Ouch!!!!! You just got CrossChecked"

My real life name is Steven, so around middle school started called me Stewie. I guess they're kind of close, so when I went to make my gamertag for XBL, stewie was already taken. I wanted the name though, so I just added the first 3 numbers that popped into my head, those numbers being 5, 7 and 4.

Thus, stewie574.

Mason is my name, and 54 is a longand personal story

The name I originally wanted to join eGO with was "The Racist Specialist", a character from a short skit on the show "Metalocalypse". However, this name was obviously denied so I quickly had to come up with a new name. That day, I was listening to Joy Division's "Unknown Pleasures" all day and back then, I felt people didn't understand how I worked so I ended up with my current name. However, my alter-ego, Suicidal Meat Slapper, came from the dark corners of my mind.

Nickname in middle school was Dutch, or the Flying Dutchman since i was a part of the track and cross country team, then i added half of my first online name which was trooper. After that i fine tuned it, and well it turned into a quote after the movie 'predator'. I added 72 on the end since its my favorite number.

Dut -chop -er72

I was called a lemming back in the days when I played CS:S often. I had a tendency to identify choke points on the maps, run to them when the round starts, flashbang them when I heard the enemy coming (go-go high end headset), and proceed to make holes in each enemy's head with my deagle. Typically took out 3-4 before they either winged me to where I had to retreat or killed me...

I am horrible at thinking up of an in-game names so I chose one that was a show name that I enjoyed back then. I might change it at some point but that will be quite some time before I change it.

i got my name from game called RuneScape ( if anyone know ) H is for health P for points so my name is hpiszero (hp-is-zero)

I am going to try to do a tl;dr version of this. I am a wrestling fan and back about 10-15 years ago internet wrestling known as e-feds was extremely popular. Basically you would come up with a character and write out roleplay stories based on your character for character development and also write out promos for the shows that were written. I started out as Blade "The Cutting Edge" Biohazard. As I evolved through out the years, one promoter suggested that I drop the long name and re-invent myself into Bladed. I created a new character around the past experiences of BCB and formed Bladed. Bladed stuck with me ever since.

My birthstone is an emerald and I wanted my nickname/name to be something off of that. So I came up with Emmy :P

Many people think my name is Emily and my name is nowhere close to Emily xD
