Well I love mythology and when I was thinking of switching my name to a new one I thought of the ocean and whats cooler than the Leviathan, the god of the outer seas!

Hmmm let me see...I was born in the fall but my mother insisted on naming me Summer. Go figure. I'm a flower child.

I started with McArther in C&C Tiberium Sun....wayyyyy back in the day I couldn't fit the other "A" into the name...and I might not have known how to spell. From there, I moved onto CoD Classic and changed to MacArther because the full name worked.

i like the army and i like the police so police was taken so i did armypoilce

First clan I joined was the Justice League, so I had to have a JL name. Black Canary was already taken and I didn't want to be Wonder Woman, so I dug around a bit and unearthed Gypsy. :)

My Gamer Tag Origin Story

When I was in college my buddies and I used to play the original Halo multiplayer game. Old I know. Back then you could only get one solid color of armor for your character and I would always get stuck with the white armor for my character. Needless to say, I stuck out on the maps like a sore thumb. I always felt like there was a target on my back or a big neon sign pointing at me saying,"Hey! He's right here!!!"

So because of this I was forced to get really really good if I wanted to even try and compete with my friends. I would practice a lot between classes (pretty sure my grades suffered).

Fast forward a few months and I am playing with my friends again. I am DESTROYING them. We had been drinking and a few of my friends thought I was cheating. One friend in particular kept getting more and more upset the more I killed him. Finally he lost his cool, stood up and threw his controller through the TV, and screamed, "Damnit! You are like a freaking Great White Death that follows me around everywhere!"

Immediately inspiration struck. It felt like a compliment to me and I liked the way that GreatWhiteDeath sounded. So it stuck.

Well I used to play on a server that would not let anyone's username contain the word NAZI. So my name comes from an abbreviated version of SOUP-YAHTZEE. I used the word YAHTZEE in place of NAZI and someone said my name was to hard to spell correctly so I changed it to just SOUPY for short.

It just happens to be the name my parents gave me ;)

Back in the day when I was playing CS (1.3 days) my name was Dilbert. I then moved into more tactical games like OFP (Operation Flashpoint) and Ghost Recon. Since I wanted a more "tactical" name I went with "Flea" - after the amazing Tears of the Sun movie. After a couple of years I realized that a lot of people where name Flea, so when I finally started playing SWAT 4, I came up with something original - hence Zeak.

Despite popular belief, the (DK) does not stand for Donkey Kong, but Denmark.

one day when i was playing a COD game on campaign i shot a german guy in the nads and he went down screaming SHIIIIZZZTER hence fourth my name shizzter

Real life: atm i use 2 names a lot in games netsky and kanselier, first one is music related, second one politicial, 2 passions of mine.

I thought it would be funny that some chump got owned by an epicfail........so did many others apparently -_- so I tacked on the 331.

My game name used to be Ken the turtle (I'm called that in real life) xD But it changed when I started playing World of Warcraft to Iiooii cause I couldn't think of anything and I wanted my name to end in ii BUT my dad said it sounded like the noise someone would make when they got punched in the face lol
So I changed to Canii about 3 years ago and it's stuck

everything is cooler when you purposefully misspell it, even if it's your own name

When I originally began playing CS back in like 2003 I picked a game name as ultimate noob. Then I changed it to kamikazi noob because I was always wanting to run in to the battle and usually died first. Over time and making new friends I shortened my name to kami noob. After some more time I shortened to kami. A buddy then made fun of my name one time using it backwards as imak. So I stole that from me and thus my name is imak. Thus the evolution of my name over many years of gaming.
