Posting this so everyone is aware how RDM works in TTT now. I have just modified the plugin making it easier for the Admins to notice RDM's and prevent people saying they were RDM'ed when they weren't.

So if an RDM happens, it will auto notify all admins in server like so

(ADMINS) RDM ALERT!! Christy RDMed Bob

To the killer it will show

(RDM ALERT) Your RDM has been reported to Admins

and to the person killed it will show

(RDM ALERT) You were RDMed, this has been reported to Admins

This makes it easier for admins to know if it was legit and let the players know it was reported

I enjoyed my time on Tech because of the amazing work I got to see from the guys. You are bae, Christy <3

In the event where an Innocent RDMs a Traitor, how does it report RDM?

But if he is a traitor, then lucky guess!

RDK is right but no sure a plugin can say if someone had enough proof to kill the traitors..

What christy did is just helpful, period.
As Squirtle said, use your judgement before kicking someone :)

Plugin doesnt see the traitors act...

admins need to serve at something :D

This plugin is just a helpful thing to let admins know that a possible RDM might have happened. People might have had a good reason why they killed someone so you have to take that into account. Ask the person why they did what they did. For example.

The plugin says Player A killed Player B. Quickly message Player A and ask them why they killed Player B. If they say something along the lines of, "Player B shot me so I killed him." then look in the logs. If it first shows Player B shot Player A and but then shows Player A killing player B, that would be acceptable.

So just because the system says so-and-so RDM'd someone, doesn't mean it was actually RDM. On the flip side, just an innocent killing a traitor can be RDM even though it doesn't say anything. A good way of seeing this is looking in the logs. If someone kills a traitor who hasn't done anything in the logs, there is a good chance they were RDM'd.

This is a complicated system. It's your job as an admin to try and handle it as best you can. We trust you guys to use common sense to make the best judgement.
