I miss the 32 player Warpath server more than any other map...It really makes you use every avenue available in the middle, rather than the usual bunching up in the top tunnel.

yus i sincerely miss 32 players on warpath.. there wasn't such a huge difference in classes, so you could play what you wanted to without jeapordizing the team by having only 1 engineer or something like that. the action was frantic, and finally capping points felt amazing.

And there's the added bonus of people trying to say my name with an aussi accent despite the fact I'm as American as they come..
[/quote1206145105]
Haha, if you only knew...
Both Mental Buga and Rod-Of-God are completely obsessed with your name. Every time I'm on Warpath and trying to concentrate on my sniping, I hear them saying "Kaptain Kangaroo" in a weird faux English/Aussie accent every few seconds. I think there was one time where I team swapped just for the purpose of killing Rod after he said it one too many times :D .

ahahahah this is so funny.. we say his name a lot, cos its just one of those names that sounds so great its addictive haha.. I am not trying to say it in an aussi way... but I guess maybe rod sounds like that a bit sometimes cos hes imitating my british accent. Sorry to know it bothers you trax.. I guess you will have to go on the other team.. *evil grin* cos when Kaptain Kangaroo is around.. I just cant resist saying his name.. and I actually say it even more, off mic haha. There are a few names that you just have to repeat often and that just has to be my favourite at the moment.. Oh nelly :D

Lmao

I used to only play in 2fort but warpath is by far the most fun because of the community there.

This makes me happy to be apart of the Warpath Community. It is fun but the wait is sooo long now! I usually end up playing Dustbowl for 20 minutes before getting into Warpath. But it is fun where everyone knows your name! *Cue Cheer's Theme*

IMO, it is probably the best place for new =(e)='s to start making new friends and spreading out from there.

Warpath is love, Ive met so many great people. In the time it took for me to make all the friends ive met on warpath, I'm sure it would have taken twice as long on any other server. Just because of the team work, and atmosphere on the server. I agree that Warpath is a great starting place for e's, and would be interested to find out how many recruits we get from warpath compaired to our other servers. And captain mental i took you up on your challenge with great success :)

Hehe, also, Warpath players will be well presented in upcoming events! Tonights turn out for Royal Rumble was quite nice. Plus playing with the others was quite interesting. ;3 Lucky I got in right when you lot switched to Warpath. Haha, look out for us.

In reply to Kolak:

I got backstabbed, i got killed by sentries, i got ubered in the face , i got gang assaulted, outnumbered, sniped, knocked out cold, burned, blown up, shot down... maybe once or twice ;)

I believe that i had a record death yesterday, i could have avoided alot of them if i hadn't been so gung-ho. But then again, i'm a medic under fire and i heal people wherever they may go and that is why i get owned alot.

I think i had 5 domination on me at a time... hehehe

But i had a good game, and i'll attract more attention at me if it meant we get more and more great new recruits every night. Although the royal rumble was tempting , i did not attend it because it was too late... i was all worn out because of warpath anyway hehehe.

Going back to the community in warpath, i believe that the problem we have now is waiting time to join. I'm happy to see the amount of people wanting to join the server. The fun part is that everybody that comes to the game all say they are gonna be back, and that is the main reason why i would wait in line for 40 minutes just to join, just because the people are just great.

The last thing i'd like to say ( for now ) is that after you get killed alot, you start to feel like you want to get revenge on everybody and then your strategy goes out the window. Keeping a level head and organizing assaults is the key to success on that map. A planned assault will normally get you far as much as a blitzkrieg. In the last games that i played, we almost beat the red team in the first 2 minutes. That is what you call a good blitzkrieg. Though they defended their last point, we came to one inch of capping it. Funny just before that, it took over an hour to win the game. It just shows you that a good planned assault can make all the difference.

A special mention goes to my friend Nutz, who in my eyes, is a great team player. You know when somebody is giving his best when you see Nutz in action. He will sacrifice for the good of the team at any point. he'll play any class he feels is needed, he will ask how we want to approach the next assault, he will not back up and always tell us to keep pushing. So people, always be carefull when Nutz is against you. Not because he wont die, because he gets killed alot, but because he pushes everybody to give there best.

My hats off to him, and to all the other players. Maybe i will start a thread with my evalutation of all the players i've played with... anyways, i'm off :)

warpath is good... but i cant find myself liking any one map.. i just play them all

I met most of the people on my friends list on the warpath server. It's my favorite place for sure. It does seem like you get more team-oriented players on there who have mics.

Ill accept the challange to... mental any day... I play that server all the time it is my favorite.

;) People are going to have a field day with you, Cap. I already have you second on my list of kills.

Wow, I really didn't know that people enjoyed Warpath. Warm feeling inside?

I don't recall anyone inviting you, Digital... :P

I'm not gonna copy whan captain mental said but I agree entirely. Even a bad day on Warpath is still a great day in terms of gaming and hanging out with friends.

And to all those snipers out there..*COlillgillUGH*..Stop shooting me in the head!

Have to agree warpath is my favorite map, and I also miss the 32 person limit. I used to think i was tired of being medic but playing on warpath has gotten me to like medic even more. Either way a majority of the people on my friends list came from that server. I play on that server, and am willing to wait for that server, because there is so much teamwork, and find people more willing to listen and more talkative.

One of my actual favorite games was on warpath. Kolak, digitalfeeling, and a few others (sorry dont remember you all), All went engi and settled down at the final point, held the last point and won the match with a majority of engis just pushing forward the sentries. Great team work in that match.

Yes, warpath was a blast on rumble, can't believe we held off the ego's, with their constant stream of ubercharges.

One of the best nights I have had on Warpath. All engies working together and calling for a medic is calling for two or three engies helping you build.
