I honestly have no idea why we haven't thought of this before.
How about we compile a list of servers our admin frequent and at what times they frequently join. This way we can see what time slots and servers need coverage.

For example:

Samurai_TwoSeven
Frequented Servers: 24/7 Operation Lockers
Time: 1630 - 2300 hrs PST weekdays. 1200 - 2200 hrs PST weekends.
Exceptions: Tuesdays are often busy for me. Fridays & Weekends depends on if I have a Scouting event or not

As the saying goes " Play first, admin second ". Members aren't required to join server to admin unless a pub notifies them (ie: Hackers, major server distuption), even still its up to member if he/she wants to go take care of the situation. You should never be joining a server for the sole purpose of finding troublemakers.

I think its a good idea for PUBs and e's who don't know admins and may not know what they need to do or who they should contact. Otherwise, I think that many people would object this idea. I personally wouldn't mind. :)

I agree with Ripply, it would be nice to have the list for PUBs and those of us who don't know who's who. We don't need to get down to the specifics of days/times/servers. We could just stick with:

Member A: Admin on BF4, BFBC2
Member B: Admin on BF4
etc.

I almost solely play on Siege 24/7 and it was pretty rare to see another eG or eGO on at least when I played. So when I start to inform players of the rules they would attack me and I would end up being ganged up on. Needless to say that server had some work to to. Since Lt Juan and DroppingSciecnce were made eG the server has been much better. I think it's good to have admin that know the server and the regulars that play on it, and to have them know your name as well. As far as a schedule though it seems like a lot to commit to. I think a good group of regular admins that play on said server is key to a successful server.

Admin's come and go, that's too hard to schedule and essentially makes it a job. A lot of us tend to join Lockers so you'll see like 10-15 of us on there fighting in the Queue, while there's none on Siege or Conquest. The maps get stale after a while so I know I try to play with other community members to keep it interesting or on other servers with the DLC maps. It'll always be play first, admin second, which is the way it should be or you'll start seeing turnover more because admins will view it as a chore rather than fun.

If you see an "e" doing good after a while, drop a note in the dropbox recommending they get looked at for a field promotion to eG. Not everyone can get noticed if they don't play where the rest of the community is or if they play while everyone else is at work or sleeping. Word of mouth is a powerful tool for us, and the more admins, the better kept the servers are!! :thumbup1:

Always try to encourage "e"'s to join us on Teamspeak, message them on the website, or get to know them better in squad chat, that'll help them learn that eG's and eGO's don't bite, and that we can be communicated with personally or for help with server stuff. Two capital letters can be intimidating to some, some know to respect chain of command, and sometimes you gotta take initiative to bring them in to the personal level.

It's the Battlefield Division, you're all leaders here! This ain't CoD =P At the end of the day it's just a game, document what offenses you see, and put in the ban requests, don't let a hacker or rule breaker ruin your fun because an admin wasn't around.

Most of us have problems on that server. People are always invsable or bad FPS or we crash. But when we play it on conquest server its fine?

I am on most evenings for a few hours. I agree that an easier way for Pubs and (e) members to get an Admin in the other servers should be found. Though I have been trying to get on Pop Maps more I don't like the 24/7 Siege due to what Chicken (the other white meat) said. Perhaps we all should try to mix up the servers we play on, not in a scheduled job kind of way but to play something other than Op Locker and get to know our community of pubbers.

Yes as others have said admins are not specifically assigned to any certain server. Over time we have promoted players that like to play in certain servers so there is some coverage but its not required of admins to have a specific time or server to be in. Most times of the day or night we have admins definitely in TS and many times in other servers. You can always request someone to help with issues. Use your admin till your resources are exhausted before trying to contact another admin. Also if you cannot find someone higher rank to help you can always post a ban request or drop box post. In the future we are working on an admin notification tool in rocket tools that can notify leadership or added admins to the listing. Also remember enjoy the server first playing and admin second you dont have to make admining a job.

A true and positive reply :) I agree :)

One thing that I did notice when I was on the night shift was that my presence was required more on Shanghai than lockers. What we might want to do is, overall, make sure that there is a good amount of coverage in all servers. In all for making a schedule, but with rotating schedules, family stuff, and overall time off, it's hard for some of us to come up with a schedule.

Again guys we cannot cover all our servers 24/7 with admins. Some like to play in certain servers over others. That doesnt mean that an admin isnt on though. If there are issues find an admin in teamspeak, through battlelog, or jump in the other server and find them. Add members to your battlelog friends list that are on various times. We have recently added some to admin ranks on shanghai and conquest servers as most play lockers as mentioned. Shanghai does get rowdy sometimes due to the type of play and same with lockers. Just keep an eye out and help each other out. With the new rocket tools we are working on an opt in admin notification.

No one has brought up chain of command yet. If you can't find any admins on, you go to advisers in other divisions. I have yet to be denied help from any other division when it comes to admin. Yes I am sorry that you have to use common sense and get on teamspeak and ask for help but it doesn't take that long. The conversion generally goes as " Hi this is Orb from battlefied division and I need help with a problem player. Would you mind helping me?"

Also, play first and admin second. No one is going to tell you to do your "job".

I think if any kind of list should go up, it should be a warn/kick list by date and time. For example, 9/11/2015 1:23pm Beg2389 warned Randomplayer123 against player disrespect.

9/11/2015 1:24pm Beg2389 kicked Randomplayer123 for player disrespect

so on so forth so we would have a list to compare frequent rule breakers with warning and kick info from admins who may be offline when you log on... just a thought. That being said, guys, I really just jump on to play and when you see me administrating, it's only when I notice, I probably miss more than I hit lol

i thought i heard rocket tools was going to do this? it'd be very helpful!

I visit Siege a lot so look for me in game if not I usually sit in an empty channel in team speak if anyone needs admin help feel free to hit me up.

Thank you orbofdeath, That generally works good you guys if you have any real harsh involvement needed, admins are normally here in TeamSpeak or on the forums. I know a PM is sometimes hard to get to before the player is gone.
If you remember one thing out of a lot during a game....It would be the Name of the player who was wrong doing. Then come here to the forums and post a Request. That way we have all that he is doing by looking here:
