No, I think he's talking about Anzio, with the sewers. And yea JohnT, I for one think Ava is by far the best map. Flash is cool and Colmar is O.K., but Ava takes the cake. Chocolate cake, I might add.

I personally like Avalanche a lot. But to be honest that thing gets boring after 4 hours of pure pwnage. I'd like to see a vote every so often that is admin controlled. So if it's a narrow margin then we don't bother switching. If it's overwhelmingly in favor of switching to flash or colmar or any other map then the admin can make it so.

Also,I'd like to talk to Kendle about getting a rockthevote feature on the server or something. That way when a large amount of people are bored they can just rockthevote and a vote will be started and the map can be changed. That's another pretty good option. Peace y'all.

Ava is pretty much the only map I play because I just got back into DoD like 3 weeks ago, but if we start scrimming I will have to familiarize myself with all of em, which wont be that hard I just havent done it yet ^_^

a lot of people leave the server when you switch maps because ava is the onyl map theyever play and dont want to play other ones because they will look like total n00bs. no offense intended towards anybody here that only plays ava i think that ava is a good map but that there are several quality maps out there and that a rotaion would be good, or at least a voting feature. i am partial to kalt, that was my favorite dod map, i havent played it much in source, but i loved it in the original

I like the 24/7 ava personally. If the server switched maps I would probably leave and go to a different server until ours went back to ava.

When people talk about sewers it's more likely to be that snow map and not Anzio, the sewers for anzio aren't used to much. I personally love flash and I like anzio as well, but Colmar seems to drag on forever if it's longer than 30 minutes.

Honestly, the reason people will leave if you switch the map is because the server is named 24/7 Ava. People join to play Ava. If it isnt ava, people get upset. Im all for a rotation, especially if the clan ever wants to scrim. Besides, playing maps you dont *pwn* at help develop you as a player. I love... Most... of the maps, and rotation would be highly recomended, just be sure to change the server name so people know what to expect.

i love destroying the other team and capping everything in 30 seconds or less, but it gets old after a while. when you kill 20 people before you die even once it gets monotonous. and pretty much everybody here knows everything there is to know about ava.

24/7 ava servers attract a lot of players, if thats the main goal right now then we should probably jsut stick with that and if several of us want to go play a different map on a different server we can hit each other up on xfire and figure out where to go.

Ava is my favorite but Flash is a close second. Starting to like Flash_night also. Played Custom map yesterday called Orange_Fight_arena with Kendle and my God, its fun. Very fast paste. Map is not large at all so 20 may be max.

I would love to see this go into rotation someday or perhaps host it for special occasion like 1 Year Anniversary of our clan .

Everyone wants to do some kind of rotation. We are just waiting till we get enough clanmates and regulars to do a switch.

Colmar is just too new. Only a small % of people really KNOW the map. I like Ava, Flash, Orange_Fight_arena. Could run them blindfolded.

I used to make some maps back in 1.6 ..... but have no clue about now lol.. Im all for a rotation, but I agree with JohnT in the fact that we are building a base of players atm. Once weve accomplished that then rotation (rockthevote) would be great.

Does EGO have more than one server? If so, have each server be a 24/7 on a differnt map. If not, have the one server be a server that stays on one map for a period of 1 or 2 days or somethin like that, than switch the map for one or 2 days.

yea i agree with britney, that map is really fun. You kinda get pissed off sometimes cause you might not even make it out of spawn cause of the massive amount of nades that come at you. but all in all its a great map.
