Battlefield 4 Idle commander

I just left the lockers server because we had a commander who was idle for two rounds. The first round we were winning at first but lost by 160 tickets.

The next round we were getting rolled. I told in chat the commander was idle for two rounds. I was told by killer girl that he was not breaking any rules and to "just play." Well it was easy for her to say that because she was on the wining team.

I think idle players, especially commanders should be kicked rather than ignored.

Idle players should be automatically kicked. I'm pretty sure that this applies to commanders as well. This is based on my past knowledge of being kicked for idling by the server.

The sever has a ~300(I think it's more actually) or so second time out for idle players so if he was truly idle than he would have been kicked. However if you do notice something like that and he hasn't gained any points all game you can bring this to attention of the admins on the server and they'll look into it.

You could just mention in the chat that the Commander is afk and they may kick him or her

I did mention it in chat but was told by killergirl (an admin) to just play.

I thought he was idle because he did nothing for two rounds. I mean nothing and when I asked for UAV he didn't respond.

I guess he was just clueless or trying to figure it out.

OK so I just went back as spectator and the guy is still commander. I asked [IMA]GeneralConsensus if the commander was helping and he said ha he done absolutely nothing.

The player in question is named AngryDiabloo

Whoa Diabloo is also probably a cheater. Look at his stats especially the locked stats.

OK, so the crazy locked stats are from him stat padding with friends I think. Or not. Hard to tell. He's trouble IMO.

Although there are plenty more issues with this guy, it appears that he was playing by the number of points he had especially in his first round.

There were two in which he wasn't playing as much but he wasn't completely idle.

Auto Idle kick should have kicked him after a few min, Regards to his stats he will be banned from our servers.

There seems to be another one in there. He's been commander for 3-4 hrs straight and from what I can tell he's not doing anything either. There are two commanders on right now. One commander has 7,200 pts. This other guy has 1,700. I can't get in to see if he's dropping supplies, uavs, etc but I doubt it.

He also appears to be a stat padder.

As far as im aware Commanders are on sort of a different system even though on the same game. Ive been commander before and its kicked me for idle but not sure if that was because my ping vs sitting idle for a period of time. Let us know if someone is using slots and we will check if they are afk too long and allow for someone else to have the spot. Hackers and those trying to crash/ddos servers also join commander so watching for idling commanders should be brought to the attention of admins to ensure that player is not attempting to cause issues for the server. Most likely with this players record he was trying to cause some sort of problem.
