Battlefield 4 Talk too much or not enough

let the gameplay do the talking, all i do is kill alex or agent about 5 times and then they have to acknowledge my power of rpg ruling
 
I think this issue largely reflects how people communicate in general, not just in TS. Some people are more talkative and outgoing than others, even if it may come off a little brash at times. I'm not sure there's anything that can be done about it.

My recommendation; the next time you feel the need to tell someone to shut up, go ahead and say it. If there's any channel to get you points for giving someone shit, it's room 5.

I agree with artimus and Jtipton. it's preference that leads people to room 5. we have alot of bf4 members that don't come into teamspeak or even room 5 if they do. sorry to talk alot guys and gals. im just trying to build up our community and recruit quality members. I represent myself full of information and never lead
anyone wrong. If you want i will be quite from now on and just game. I never meant to step on any toes.

Ya know Turk is basically the poster child of eGO battlefield division. I honestly can't pick out a someone out of everyone from us that has done more to help expand the division like he has. When it comes to getting people in and keeping them by extending open arms and a warm welcome to all players Turk is the man. As for the talking in room 5...It's Room 5. It's get crazy. That's how Room 5 has been and I hope it never changes. If you really need to get something said everyone will make sure you have your chance to say it if you just voice that you have something to say. You have to remember that you're dealing with 10+ people at once in the same game dealing with tactics, call outs, some smack talk and everything else that you can throw in there. Pick any Teamspeak channel that we have and you wont find the same spark that Room 5 can provide. The energy mixed with the mass amounts of hysteria in a busy game makes Battlefield a game worth playing.

i deffinatly feel the same way and share your concern's and i find my self sitting in TS a lot of the times trying to be "active" but like you said its hard to when people just don't know how to tone it down and share the speaking space instead i find that certain people will dominate the room with their voice and other miss out on opportunities to join in and converse.

p.s. a lot of the times i find my self having to excuse myself before i end up telling someone to stfu cuz the talk to much :/ don't want to feel this way any more.

The people that are joining this room and communicating with everyone are people that have been gaming with everyone else in that room for months and even years on. We're all compadres in there and after a long day of work and other general BS it's good just to hop into TS and blow off some steam with buds. No one is trying to purposely alienate you. The Teamspeak channel and any other voip software you might be using that has a bunch of people in it that have been together for x amount of time will always be like that. It's always seems hard to fit into a new crowd where you haven't made yourself known but believe me...all it takes is a simple hello and some time and you'll be fine. When I first joined eGO I never hopped into Teamspeak until Turk and Suprise coerced me into hopping in and at first, I was a bit timid to throw myself into the dogs but after a few days of just being around it doesn't matter anymore. You're a apart of the best community in my opinion one could be in that provides so much through the support of its members.
 
Beer is the issue here....blame it on the beer!!!

I am guilty of it myself, I am annoying at times I bet, but I am the cannon fodder,-so deal with it!! But he is correct that lately there have been a couple come in and just talk talk talk about nothing at all and that does seem to be just to annoy others. I do it cause I like the funny shit that happens in the game, I don't game on our servers seriously for the most part, its J4F. I take the admin stuff seriously, but the pub servers are just that, a place to have fun.

So the same goes for room 5, other than the rules of eGo, speak up and enjoy!!
 
In all seriousness, it seems that Room 5 contains that "back porch at a family gathering" feel to it, where others are elsewhere and show up to mingle, socialize, and talk about random things. There's really no order to those talking, but there can be order from disorder. If you want to pop in and say hi, or tell people to quiet down so you can say something, people will do it.

Turk, you're golden man. You're the reason i'm in eGO in the first place.

I've never really had any issues with you at all, some of the things you talk about are quite funny. I enjoy your witty banter.... however long winded you may be at times, haha. <3 cheers bro.
 
Also, wanted to share.. I've been in the community now for what? about a week? give or take a couple days?

I'm slowly learning to integrate myself into room 5 and speak up if I want to say something.

So far, everyone in the channel is always open to listen.. unless they're chatty about a super hot topic. lol

As time goes on, i'll learn to just interject. As an INTJ, this will take time.

No worries though, I love this organization, first one I've been in that is this active and welcoming to new members at the same time.
 
I really enjoy each different personality that I am privileged to meet in the BF4 Room5 TS Channel.. Some of us talk too much, some of don't talk as much. That melting pot of different characters is my favorite part. Most of all I really enjoy when Room 5 has a lot of players in it, talking about 2 or 3 different things and in the background someone shouts out my name as they die from my claymore or DAO. :thumbup:

So far, I really appreciate everyone that I've had contact with in room 5.

Obviously not everyone can get along with everyone, for that would be a perfect world.

I do chat more often in TS during the late late hours / early morning hours as there seems to be much more 'dead air' during those times.

So if you'd like to chat with me, get to know me more, join up during those times and strike up a conversation with me. :)

I hear ya man, I'm kind of the same way but I still enjoy hangin' with everyone. I mostly talk in squad :)
