Hey guys! I LOVE PHOTOGRAPHY! After hijacking a couple threads, I decided to start one for you aspiring photogs out there! Post your favorite photos here!

RULES!!! YES, there need to be rules!!

-For the sake of this thread, please try to limit it to photos YOU'VE taken! There are other threads for pics found on the internet!
-NO NUDITY, PORNOGRAPHY, OR RAUNCHY STUFF! Let's keep this clean!
-Compliments are more than welcome! DO NOT, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, RIDICULE SOMEONE FOR THEIR SKILL (OR APPARENT LACK THEREOF) IN PHOTOGRAPHY!!! This is UNACCEPTABLE and I will do everything in my power to see that full steps are taken if you do! :)
-Most importantly, HAVE FUN!

Hooray! First comment!!! Lemme dig out a pic for you...
Alright, now i'm not a photographer by trade, or want, or whatever, but i do enjoy going out with friends and having some fun behind the lens... these are all UN-retouched, raw, and probably a little over-exposed but ya... from a trip to the arboretum in Arcadia CA.

Toast, I've been there! :) I love it. Have some good photos hiding around here somewhere. Ditto to the untouched and unfinished. :)

My camera is crap, but I do have some sunset pics I took at work. Stupid power lines always in the shot.

(Sorry the images are so big, I didn't have time to shrink them before work)

Wow. That is some amazing photography right there.

I have a pretty good digital camera, and want to get started in photography. I was just wondering if their was any valuable tips someone might lend me. :)
Note, I rarely take pictures, so please use language I can understand. :D

Okay! It's time for some of Thor's Pictures! Bwahahaha!

None of these photos have fancy doctoring, so stick with me. (Except for one, but it's very obvious...)

Here's the New York Skyline.

Awesome, Thor. I have to get my East Coast pictures translated into digital form and post them. Good times. :)

Good work Moose... I wouldn't have plucked up the courage to post mine otherwise!

Anyways here are a few.. I agree some are not well taken, but they're interesting to me.. so I thought I would share them... All of them were taken from my last trip to America (yes... cliched disney pics included)

By the way all of the pictures were taken on my mobile phone.. resized to fit the forum

A nice oriental water pic... I love anything with water..

I'm a big animal lover..... Always trying to get pictures of them reacting to me (or at least making it seem like they are).

Manatee (sp?) Or the sea cow as they are otherwise known... I like him.. he seems friendly

This guy wouldn't look at me.. But I am pleased with the pic as I generally find it hard to get good shots through glass

Finally... this is Colin... I met him in San Francisco.. It took a while for him to trust me... but after a few days he'd come into my room at the Mariott Residence. Friendly fella.

I will add more shots later, but I thought I would post this up. No photoshop on this. Took this with my Canon SD630.
