Anyone know anyone famous that plays TF2?

Last night on Convoy there was this guy that sounded EXACTLY like this guy named Cohutta from the RealWorld on MTV. If you watched the show at all you know he has a distinct southern georgia voice. The pitch and accent were just about identical.

I asked if it was him, and his response made me think it was, even though he denied it. It was a response like "Not sure who that is but I bet I'd sleep with him" Thats not really word for word but it was something along those lines making me think he didnt want the attention.

It could of been him but who knows. His player named was Reverend and he was using nothing but voice chat.

There's this guy that plays Convoy sometimes named =(eGO)=™ Thor [DAM] [UGSR]. He's pretty famous to some intarwebz users.

Ruh-roh! That's me! But I'll never tell you how I'm famous. :)

Not really. Although I was in the Ava server about a week ago and one of the Valve employees were on.

When did being on reality shows make you automatically famous?
Bush has his own TF2 in Iraq!

Well I wouldnt say he is THAT famous, but being on a TV series that millions watch tends to make you "known"

True true - getting back on topic - yea Im sure they are out there somewhere but I guess it would be kinda lame to have peeps kinda swarm you when you just want to play the game.

like how Job from arrested development plays COD4 but on the console

*imagining George Bush playing TF2* That would be wierd o_O

That would be incredibly funny. ^_^

Though it isn't helpful when he first refuses to play the soldier class, then accuses the other team of producing chemical weapons in their base so he feels OK about spawn camping. ;)

The drummer of Avenged Sevenfold plays TF2 on occasion. Dunno if he's ever been on our servers, but he's an acquaintance if not really a friend.

I know that Robin Williams plays Counter-Strike, my friend in San Francisco saw him at a big LAN event playing with his son, and I seem to recall an interview with him talking about it. It's not a big stretch to go to TF2. I'd hate to have to ban a respected comedian for breaking our rules though :-o

I imagine that a lot of famous people play lots of online games, and it's probably the case that the majority of them wish to be left alone.

I listen to Opie and Anthony while I'm sitting at the bus stop in the mornings ('cause that's what's on at 4 AM in New Mexico) and they talk about playing COD on the X-Box on a regular basis, and that apparently Dane Cook is exceptionally foul-mouthed when he plays.

We need to get all these celebrities on a lan party
I don't know any celebs that play tf2, although I remember Redman was a huge fan of Counter-Strike
