Admin Seminars for our European players

I promised one of my friends, a European player, that we'd work to make Admin Seminars accessible to our European community, and the time has come.

First, let me say we sincerely appreciate our European players. You have a great time on our servers at times when those of us in the U.S. simply couldn't.

Kiniki politely asked me if this were even possible a couple of weeks ago, and I appreciate his patience with me.

I'm up to speed on setting servers up to do this, and am available most Saturdays most of the day. I'm willing to start a class as early as 6:00 AM PDT, which is -7 hours GMT (so 1:00 PM GMT).

I will run a seminar for as many as will fit on server or as few who have even a passing interest in one of these seminars. Your names will be taken and you'll be credited for attending.

Please post your interest and availability and we'll work out a time that works best for everyone involved. Saturdays are the only day I can do an early morning (my time) seminar.

BTW, for any who are interested in a much earlier training session, you're welcome, too, even if you're not European, but if we have lots of interest, our European gamers will be given priority.

I had been thinking about 2:00 PM GMT, but if it means you can't attend, there's no reason not to make it 4:00 PM GMT or so. How many people could attend on April 12th at 4:00 PM GMT?

The first of these will be held on April 12th at 5:00 PM Greenwich Mean Time. This is 10:00 AM Pacific Daylight Time, 11:00 AM Mountain Daylight Time, 12:00 PM Central Daylight Time, and 1:00 PM Eastern Daylight Time.

Note: Some areas do not observe Daylight Savings Time, such as the State of Arizona. Arizona is on Mountan Standard Time, rather than Mountain Daylight Time, which is the same as Pacific Daylight Time.

Confused? Don't be! Our European players wishing to attend an Admin Seminar will be given first priority, but I don't expect them to fill the session. Anyone else wishing to attend, help maintain discipline, etc. is welcome.

This will be held on the Convoy Server, which will be locked.

Special request: To avoid noise, distraction and accidental slaughter, everyone will please spawn as a medic, with medigun out. Do not activate or charge the medigun. Thanks, everyone.

To add to Monkey's request, any attendee that acts out and is banned from the class will lose their admin abilities

Monkey, I'm in CDT but generally unable to make the later times. I will try to be there Saturday if there's room.

hrmm, too bad I'm flying that day. if they have internet on my flight, I will try to join in (no promises on what I can hear). non-european, so others have priority.

Dryft, I think there will be. If you can't make it, but there's high demand for Saturday sessions earlier in the day, I'll coordinate with OfficerFriendly (who heads up training) and we'll do additional seminars like this one.

Hey monkeybits...i live in Central time....i should be on most of the day....i am bad with times so do you think that if there is an open slot available and i am able to attend that you could tell me when it starts via steam? If you arent on my steam list already (my steam name is sharpshooter67/ sharp maybe ....i should be on around 9AM-12PM Central...

I am great with time zones. Unless you're living in certain parts of Illinois, it will be 12:00 PM your time.

We have a crew of trainers now that are avaliable at different times so if there is enough demand we can set up more classes.
