This will be a guide on how to be a prisoner, guard, and warden. Please do not mistake this with the Jail Rulebook, this is just to help you have fun while not breaking the rules!

Prisoner (T):

Difficulty: EASY to MEDIUM - Recommended for first time players.

Your main goals as a prisoner are either: Attempt to kill all the Guards (CT) by rebelling, or Follow the Warden's orders in order to get LR (Last Request).

The easiest way to win a round as a prisoner is by following the Warden’s orders. Following orders is typically really easy, all you need to do is listen to the Warden. The Guards and Warden are going to try to kill off the prisoners because they have been bad. Stealing coffee is a death sentence after all! So you need to try to survive these brutal games of death from the CTs until you are the last prisoner alive.

Ramping up the difficulty to medium, your next course of action is to rebel. Rebelling as a Prisoner is quite easy, just don’t listen to either the Guards or Warden. You break off your chains of imprison and kill all those dirty, fiendish Coffee Hoarders! Rebelling is considered medium difficulty because it can be quite challenging to successfully pull it off. You may die one hundred deaths before you can successfully kill all the Guards. Rebelling takes a few choice skills. You need the ability to shoot a gun well, the ability to hide in plain sight, and the ability to create chaos.

When you decide to rebel, be prepared to be hunted down. Be advised that you will not receive LR when you rebel. When you kill a CT, you are automatically wanted. There are numerous areas that make you automatically wanted as well, they’re called Auto-Wants for short.

The following are universally considered Auto-Wants:
  • Ventilation systems going onto elevated platforms
  • Elevated platforms
  • Armory
  • Any areas specified by the Warden
  • Gun Caches

So we will run you through a typical round of jail:

You are waiting on cells to open as some guy gets selected as warden. The young man then immediately starts spouting off his first set of orders. “When the cell doors open, face your cell door and freeze,” he says, in an almost clockwork manner. You are faced with a radical decision:

Something about this warden strikes you as odd. You start to notice that his “Orders” are to lax, easy to abuse. The doors are about to open, you decide that this is the perfect chance to rebel. You quickly look around your jail cell to find any inkling of a useful item. Your eyes suddenly lock on to the smoke grenade underneath the bed. You have the perfect plan in mind. You run for the smoke grenade in the heat of the moment, pick it up, and prepare to toss it. The doors seemed to take hours, no- years, as you start to sweat with the realization that this plan won’t work out. You are faced with another choice:

The cell doors clamor open. You decide to follow the orders as if they were a blueprint. The back of your former lockup looks rather unkempt, but it’s too late to clean. A few of your closest friends die. Though momentarily stricken with grief, you decide to hold your head up high and continue following the orders. The Warden barks another order. “I want you all to stack on my spray and freeze.” Not wanting to be shot, you do just that. “Alright, follow me outside to climb.” You start running after the Warden. He quickly corrects himself. “Uh, shift-walk follow me.” You start walking. You are now at climb. The ripe backside of a guard is right next to your arm. Aw man, another choice:

What’s life without a little risk? You stick to your guns. You throw the smoke grenade exactly one second after the doors open. The guards are in a screaming panic. Hopefully it’s not because of the plan. You start running towards the thrown, yet currently undeployed, smoke grenade. Right when you reach the grenade, the smoke comes out in massive tufts. You are hidden! Unfortunately, the guards are starting to notice your plan. Without thinking, you dash for the exit of the cellblock. You are hit multiple times on your way out. You aren’t dead yet, but you are losing blood fast. You have no weapon to defend yourself. This is the perfect chance to go find a weapon cache. You might be low on health and the guards are hot on your trail! Running as fast as your weakened prisoner body can, you bend around the corner and run out of the doors into a field. You remember this place as a place of torture. Those guards drank coffee in front of you and never let you have a taste or even a sip. “Nevermind that!” you internally scream. You need to make a break for the mailbox, where there is a USP-S. You hear the door behind you open, quickly followed by shrieks of rage. Those blasted guards, do they ever shut up? You blitz through some hedges and finally reach the mailbox. Then a horrible sight reaches your eyes, A guard is standing at the mailbox. The mailbox contains the pistol and your hopes of surviving this horrible place. You have to make a quick decision:

The guard is a newer player, it’s one of the first times he played on the jail server. You can tell because he is talking over the warden. The moment is right. You decide to strike. All it takes is one single knife stab to the backside and he is a goner. He’s even facing away from you. You take one step towards him and try to knife him. You didn’t backstab him. He turns around and kills you.

THE END

Being stealthy and elusive is always the smart choice. Simple. All you need to do is listen to this warden drone on. Alright, doors have opened. Now it’s time to face the cells. “Alright, I want all T’s to stack on the cell stairs.” Great, this warden doesn’t know how to control prisoners. The prisoners are apparently being directed towards race, you should be able to disappear easily with the smoke grenade. The warden wants the prisoners to run now, the fool. You toss your grenade into the door of race. The door is smoked off, the guards are panicing.. “T’s, unstack and freeze looking at the wall!” You are long gone. You already snuck off at the side door. These guards need better attention spans. Rebelling is way too easy, how could they let you slip into armory THAT fast? It must be a record! You found an M4A1-S and a Deagle. You slip into pool and hide for awhile. A simple choice lies ahead:

To swim away, click here.
To hide behind the pillars, click here.

What? These aren’t links! What the heck! Looks like you don’t have a choice. You’re forced to hide. It seems like the guards are just now noticing that a prisoner is missing. You just let time waste away in the pool until the final minutes. A complicated choice lies before you:

It’s the end of the road. This is it- what you love to hate. Climb. The warden barks some more orders. “Please freeze on the first block of climb.” You do. He says something, but there’s something very strange about it. “I will be taking 3 winners, please meet on my spray outside of the winners’ box. Go!” He didn’t say no cheating. He didn’t say it! No one else notices, and you wait a few seconds before taking action. Oh great.

“Oh, to hell with it! This guard ain’t nothin,” you think to yourself. You charge at the guard. Wait, something is off again. The guard also takes out his knife! A quick perception check reveals that his nametag says Sweg. You heard stories of this guard. He is always willing to fight on the same playing field and winning every bout. You think to yourself, “Maybe today is a good day to die, even if it is like this!” Bullets begin to whizz past you as you charge at Sweg. One particular bullet hits the back of your leg, slowing you down. A smile appears on Sweg’s face as he brings down his Edgetech™ Prison Guard Knife on to you. Luckily, fortune favors you this day. That last bullet hurt your leg bad enough to force you to fall. Sweg’s knife narrowly misses your throat! Thoughts begin to race through your mind. “I will make this! I can kill him!” You stand up and bring your knife across his chest. Your attack deals catastrophic damage! You can do this! All color starts to fade, as panic starts to kick in. You realise that you have been shot. Those incompetent guards finally hit their target. As your body collapses to the ground, Sweg picks up your knife and adds it to his collection. You hear one last thing before dying, “This will be another notch on my belt, as with all the other rebel knives.” Your view begins to fade to black.

You start back playing climb. Someone on the server is bouncing from obstacle to obstacle with ease. “Oh great, a bunny hopper,” you think. You’re probably doomed. “WE HAVE OUR FIRST WINNER,” the warden exclaims. Great, only two more to go. There are at least ten people in front of you. You start to pick up the pace. Just as you get to the mid way point, someone else wins. The warden says he is taking one more winner. You can almost taste the finish line. As you speed up, you feel a sinking feeling in your gut. You fell. Someone else won. Great. The guards kill you.

THE END

As you start becoming irritable in the pool water, it dawns on you how amazing it would be if you suddenly became a ninja. There’s literally nothing else to do, so why not? First, you activate sneaky beaky mode by crouch walking everywhere. Next, you are required to kill people with your knife, because ninja. Modern ninjas also use guns on occasion. Stealth Mode - Engaged. It’s time for you to go everywhere and be a bad ass. You should hum a tune! How about “Naruto Road to Ninja Theme”? Actually, just sing literally anything from Naruto. You turn into a fly and are now stuck on a wall. Not really, but you try to. Y’know, the ninja way and all of that. Okay, you finally made it back to the armory. The Warden is screaming about some rebel on the loose. Heh. How naive. Oh hey, a group of Guards are coming! It’s your time to be a true ninja! You hide behind a bush and wait. They are coming directly for you… This is a bit strange… They passed you, nice! Watch out! A guard is coming back! Get to being a ninja! You have to pop out from the bush and throw your shurikens (in the form of bullets) at the evil guard! Pew pew pew pew pew. You got him! One down! The other guard is on his way over there now to investigate, time to use your ultimate tai-jutsu 5 finger-death-knife. It’s a super hard technique you trained in a pool from visions of your madness. Ignore that last part. Alright, he’s close enough! It’s time for you to attack! KAAAAA-MEEEEEEE-HAAAAAA-STAAAAAAABBBBB SUMMON Jutsu! You killed that sucker with your ultimate tai-justu! WAIT, WHAT? HE’S COMING BACK TO LIFE?

(In reality, all your “ninja” self really did was appear in front of the guard and start screaming. You didn’t even kill the first guard. The first guard pretended to be dead because it fooled you. The second guard laughed so hard he actually suffocated to death. Upon witnessing this, the first guard came back from the dead and killed you.)

You, the ninja master, died. Ninja are cool and everything, but maybe you shouldn’t hide in a pool so long you go insane. Drinking weird pool water is not safe. Maybe you should use your gun. You should also try not to go insane next time.

THE END

TRY AGAIN?

In a valiant effort, you start running towards the warden’s spray. Someone shoots you, but the Warden stops them. “Hold your fire, I never said no cheating. This player is very clever.” You won climb. Quickly, other prisoners start to realize what happened. A horde of prisoners start rushing onto the spray, but only two make it before the rest are mowed down by the guards. The Warden starts talking, quickly and firmly. “I want you all to unstack and freeze up on this wall. We’re going to play russian roulette for LR. If you are unfamiliar with the game I will type a number from 1 to 6 in team chat. I will go from left to right, and ask you to guess a number. If you guess the number you die. You cannot repeat a number.” You look around. You’re in the middle. One poor soul to the left, one poor soul to the right. Great, you don’t have to go first. The person to your left guesses the number 6. The Warden now points his gun at you.

It would be futile to reach for that gun now! You turn to your left and dash into the hedges, avoiding the gazing eyes of the guards. It won’t be long until they find you, so you decide to open the vent that is in the middle of the field. The vent will lead you to safety. You rush towards it with all your might. The breaking of branches and boisterous breaths reach your ear. The guards are about to be upon you. You break open the vent, its metal on metal noises echo across the jail. The Warden yells at the other guards, “Kill that rebel or you will die by my hand!” Hastened by this, the guards pick up their pace and reach the end of the hedges. At that very same moment, you jump into the ventilation system and run. You can only think of running. You feel a bit too fat from drinking all that coffee. Your run slows down, it seems you have escaped. A simple decision lies before you:

You confidently type your response in chat. You know for a fact your response is the correct one. You look to your left and to your right. The Warden moves firmly to your right. The next prisoner guesses the number. The next moment, his brains are all over the wall. It looks like you won. The Warden realizes that there are two prisoners left, not one. “The first one to the soccer field wins. Go!” You dish and dash with all your might. You fail to realize the other prisoner doesn’t even know where the soccer field is. You get there before the other prisoner is even out of the climb area. You now have a Last Request.

You follow the signs in the vent, all of which were hastily scrawled to help rebels find their path. and head to the Medic. You hear gunshots and laughter from ahead of you. The Warden must be enjoying the death of your fellow prisoners. With a new found will, you try to double time it to the medic. As you begin to reach the end of the vent, you hear a strange noise. “I’ll show them, they can’t drink coffee in front of me for much longer!” It sounds like a Prisoner! Did he also escape? Rushing to the exit of the vent, you stop. Maybe it is a sixth sense or some premonition, but you decide to wait. You hear loud, heavy footsteps. It’s a guard. The prisoner doesn’t seem to notice the guard approaching. He’s still talking to himself. Multiple shots ring off the vent walls; they echo throughout the facility. You smell iron and see bright red blood splattered everywhere. You assume the other prisoner is dead. You wait to hear footsteps before leaving the area. You don’t hear any footsteps, just guards yelling about the gunshots. You inch closer to heal, peeking out through the vent. The room is covered in blood, and the smell of iron pierces your nostrils. You recoil slightly. It looks like the Guard and Prisoner killed each other at the same time. How unfortunate. You pick up an AUG from the guard’s mangled corpse and a R8 Revolver from the prisoner. Looking at the medic, you implore her to treat your wounds. As she does, you hear a faint screaming, reminding you that you can’t wait for the medic to finish. As you leave, you see your fellow prisoners being forced to play a game of Death Soccer. Death Soccer forces the guards to play soccer. The losing team dies. It’s a brutal game. An easy choice is before you:

You confidently type your response in chat. You know for a fact your response is the correct one. You look to your left and to your right. As it turns out, it was the incorrect response. Death is not the correct word for what happened to you. You are super dead. Extremely dead. You’re done for.

The Warden becomes flustered. Great, you’ve flustered the Warden. There were only legends of players like you before, but now there is irrefutable evidence. You’re a jerk. The Warden kills you. That’s not even cheating. That’s just being an idiot.

This is it. It’s your time to shine. You request a gun from one of the guards. They give you a scout. Great. You throw down the gun in disgust. The next gun that is handed to you is a rifle. It is an AUG to be exact. This will have to do. You start shooting at the nearest guard. That’s one taken out, only eight more to go. You mow down a good two guards, and then turn around only to be greeted with bullets flying at your face. You duck behind cover and wait for them to come to you. They all started coming at you one at a time. Neither you nor your armor get hurt in the process. It’s down to only two guards left, and they refuse to be the next victims. They nonetheless are slain by your Awesome AUG. You are victorious. Just kidding, once you initially killed that first guard you were immediately gunned down. Good job.

You decide to go find a gun. Every good rebel needs a gun! Racing through the ventilation system, you decide to go to the maze vent. You climb a couple ladders and then scoot along on your knees to get to a USP-S. This is a pretty good gun, you would be able to headshot those nasty guards if they weren’t wearing helmets. You decide to break out of the vents above maze, dropping into the CT area. Luckily, you aren’t discovered. There are no guards in sight. Peeking out from the Maze door, you notice a guard watching a… prisoner? What? Why would a prisoner be here? Approaching from the CT area, you notice that the guard is Sir Ronald D. Knucker, Rebel Killer. This isn’t good, but it seems like hasn’t noticed you yet. You are overcome with the burden of choice:

You wake up and smell the ashes. Realizing it’s not worth it, you decide to take the unethical course of action. You decided to kill yourself. How do you do it? You want to go out with a bang. You want to be funny. You get all the guards to gather around you. You tell them you’re going to do a magic trick. By your command, the warden starts counting backwards from ten. “Ten, nine, eight, seven, six, five, four, three, two, on-” You are dead on the spot. Everyone laughs.

YOU WIN

You smirk, these guards will never expect you. As you open the door to the soccer field, you see the Warden. He’s sitting in his lawn chair drinking coffee. He must be the first to fall. You take aim with your AUG. The reticle is right on Warden's head. You take your time and line up the shot. Ba-ching! You hit him in the head! Wait… he is getting up. Fire everything! As you unload your AUG at the Warden, he falls, and you search for the next guard. The guard you see first seems stunned that the Warden just died and is panicking. You briefly look towards the other prisoners, they are all cowering in fear. You continue firing at the shocked guard. You manage to take him down! This is going great! You search for your next target. You fire 2 bullets… Nothing happens. What the heck? Why is it not shooting? You throw your AUG to the side and take out the R8 Revolver. Cocking back the R8, you miss every shot aimed at the guard. One of the shots finally hit the guard’s leg. He shoots you in the chest with a scout in retaliation. Barely clinging to life, you fire another shot at the guard. You ended his life. He’s dead. With only 3 guards left, your vision slowly becomes a dark red. You’re losing blood fast. An announcement is heard over the intercom, “Sir Ronald D. Knucker is now the new Warden.” You are shaking in your boots after hearing his name; you need to end this fast without all your fellow prisoners dying. You have a final decision:
