Tech Help Dual monitors

So just added another monitor and i was wondering how can i get each monitor to open up in its own monitor, when i click to open something in monitor 2 it pops up on monitor 1 but not vise versa.

Operating system? Are they extended or mirrored?

And when you're in game you can click CTRL+SHIFT+ALT+I and click to the other monitor without minimizing your game.

OK I'm trying it now but where is the setting where the window pops up on the monitor I want and not the primary?

Windows 10 has the virtual desktop feature which should eliminate the need for new software. Familiarize yourself with the virtual desktop and you should be able to run one instance on one monitor which would act independent of the other.

Will that prevent games from needing to minimize when you click to the second monitor in Windows 10? I was told I can run the game in windowed mode, which is fine in CS:GO because it has the option for fullscreen window mode, you can't tell the difference. But DOD:S has the window bar and it bothers me. Otherwise, when I scroll over to the second monitor, and click something, the screens both refresh (flash black) and the first screen minimizes the game.

Run DOD:S in a borderless window, that should resolve this. Runs fullscreen on one monitor, can still switch to another easy. Give me a shout if you need a hand

yea I just run games in a window and just alt tab to the next monitor. simple fix
