Does anyone here buy DLC?
I feel like there is never a need to buy DLC, last DLC I have bought was MW3 Elite, and got them all.
Only time also.
I've been listening to podcasts about people saying video games are more expensive/less expensive and I just feel like a game is as only as expensive as the consumer wants it to be.
I don't buy DLC and I really enjoy BF4 and BO3 at its core and don't feel the urge to buy any.
I just wanted to see what everyone else did here.

I'm kind of in that boat, I usually tend to miss out on DLC content unless its a GOTY edition of a game. Also not a fan of buying things in TF2/CS:GO

For some games yes, but only during steam sales when things are super cheap.

I always buy the DLC's for CoD if it is the new CoD such as BO3. It's just really refreshing and always feels good to kind of relearn something or have fun with a new zombies map :)

Only games I have bought DLC for is ESO, SWTOR, and Battlefield. Granted, the "DLC" for ESO and SWTOR are expansion packs, that are 10X+ the size of DLC for games like Battlefield.

I was just curious to see what you guys all thought because I was strolling through BF DLC and BO3 DLC and was baffled.
Plus my brother was thinking of getting Payday2 Crimewave edition after already owning PD2 for xbox360.
I never seen the point.

Depends on the company and game. Certain companies have turned DLCs into a way of making quick money when the stuff should really have been included in the original game. However, there are other DLCs that definitely extend the life of the game and are actually good buys. Perfect example to me is the Borderlands DLC; didn't cost a lot of money and they definitely gave a good amount of content to enjoy playing on.

Really, you should look at the DLC and ask yourself, "Is this a fair price for what it's going to give me?" and "Was this supposed to be in the original release?"

The only DLC I really buy is Bethesda DLC because most of the time they put out decent DLC. Except *cough* Horse Armor *cough*. I am guilty of owning all the Rocket League DLC though.

Skyrim and Fallout DLC is alright, but I haven't viewed DLC as life extending since MW3 with the Elite Drops.
Dead Rising 2 DLC I actually played, my brother owned and bought it and I played but its rare to see almost a full length game sold as DLC.
