At around 6:20 PM GMT (1:20 PM EST) today there was actually people on Kalt:

It died shortly after that, but still it was surprising to see this many people in Kalt that early.

Whats funny is (Im PST) around 12 I was heading to work I already saw a few people on Kalt which is not a bad thing!

Awesome! I love when we get the group going in the evening to play Kalt, but during the day is sweet.

A lot of schools across the nation have been moving to weird scheduling, where summers are short and they get extra breaks throughout the year. Here in Georgia, in our County, K-12 has had the whole week off.

That is sort like what they do at my school in the UK. We get 2 months of summer and the rest is school with breaks in between.

that might explain it. I noticed there were only a handful of high pingers, most seemed fairly normal, which in itself is odd to have players in the middle of the day. Soon Kalt will pass Donner, if it hasnt already

Yea I moved here from Indiana and the schools up there did the same. They were discussing it when I went to high school in CA East Bay too. Good for memory retention I guess. I know I forgot all my math over the summer haha. But the worst was ending my math at Algebra II, all that was required, then taking a ton of extra science courses, like botany, zoology, agriculture, animal science. Math in college kicked my butt the first semester lol.
