I usually watch the credits just in case there is an epilogue. Once I got an achievement from the game just for watching all of the credits lol (Sunset Overdrive).

If you do some weak as heck job on the credits like just scrolling the names over a black background with no music or anything (or even worse, the one splash page credit list), there's a very good chance I won't bother watching them. Good games typically like to spend a little time on them though, giving you stuff like (as mentioned) groovy music and concept art, and some even go further and add interactivity to them like New Super Mario Bros did for the DS (you could poke the letters in everyone's name and they'd make mario sfx).

Everyone took the time to make the game, I can give them a bit more time acknowledging the work they did. I watch the whole thing.

I feel the same way. They took time from their lives to make a piece of entertainment for people to enjoy. They deserve to at least have the recognition of their names being seen in the credits.

I might if I see funny names or there is some cool epilogue like what the doc said.

I might watch the first 30 seconds to a minute. After that, I am ready to move on. Some games force you to watch the credits though before you can save..... or continue playing if it is the sandbox style that allows you to.

this is a funny and creepy poll, because i always just sit there and read the credits.sometimes i feel weird doing that but i guess i'm not alone

If the game I played was one I enjoyed a lot, I'll watch the credits to pay respect to the creators if that makes sense.

Some credits even have a lot going on in them such as Super Mario Sunshine which makes me stick around.
