What does it mean to you?

When I stumbled upon eGO it must have been the work of a higher power because I had gone through a tumoltuous time in a counter strike:souce server, I decided to start playing some DoD... I found the Strand server and fell in love with it, favorited the server after the first night and made many friends over a few months of playing exclusively on strand. I eventually made the descision to join eGO and wasn't very into it at first. That is until I went to the Kustom Kettle server and met garden grove and after a night of playing with him around I instantly realized its not just about being in a clan, its about the people in the clan and the form of friendship you can make over the internet. Being in a clan was about fun. Then Team Fortress 2 was brought to my attention and I fell in love with it. I just wondered how fun it would be playing such a characterful multiplayer game with friendly people. So I got the orange box the day it came out. I have not once regreted spending that money and the money has easily been repayed a hundred fold in good times. Many of you know im one of the worst TF2 players around, it dosent matter with eGO, they just care about people having a good time!

So what do I think being an edge gamer is all about? Having fun while you are playing, that is the point of a video game afterall right? Edge Gamers seems to be built on the broken windows theory where a broken window will lead to bigger crimes. Edge Gamers elimenates the cancer before it grows allowing the people playing to continue having a great time. This is why eGO is what a clan should really be, the game isn't made for competition and unfiriendly fights, it is made for fun and eGO seems to be the only clan that realizes this. Anywho I feel like I have made my point and anything more I say will just be more of the same.
