With the change to the servers this morning, you may have noticed that 2Fort is no longer on the list.
I was informed yesterday that 2Fort had to be removed, as it had not been really gaining any significant traction over a long period of time while we were keeping Turbine and Dustbowl up and running. We were aware that this could be happening for a couple weeks now, and I assure that your TF2 Leadership team did everything we could to keep it up, as we had a plan to get it going, and we were well on our way before weird side effects from TF2 updates and server box issues caused problems.
Due to the move to Chicago, our hardware resources changed, which prompted this. We are not the only division affected.
What this means: We need to make Turbine and Dustbowl the best they can be, and once that happens, we can add a new server. I have been told by upper leadership that they are amazed by our efforts in the past months bringing those servers up. If we had gotten 2fort in the same area, we could keep it, but for now we will need to really focus on the other two.
Hopefully with the move to Chicago this morning it will solve a lot of backend issues and because of the location/ping changes it will attract more people. I want everyone to build off of that and let's see Turbine and Dustbowl rocket up.

I know that while playing with you amazing members you have been talking about putting up a different server, like payload or KOTH. Let's make that a reality in the near future, by working hard today and beyond. Let's do an amazing job recruiting the fantastic players that play in our servers, creating a fun environment for everyone. That is what will help us build.

I've spent days, or probably weeks on that server. Shame it died out, but Turbine and DB are doing good and seem to be well liked by pubs and members
