Battlefield 4 Disrespectful Admins on 24/7 Shanghai

I realize that your original admins have decided to pass the wager on the whole taking care of the server. I get it, life to attend to and all. However, I was just kicked for being in the red zone along with 2 others that were in my boat outside of E on Shanghai 24/7 just because I killed one of your admins in the Attack Helicopter one to many times. Not a single warning issued. Most of these admins I had never really seen before they became admin. Quite honestly it is very irritating.

I’m going to give you this wise advice as this same issue happened to your competing server before they lost so many players they were forced to shut down the server. I would keep a direct eye on the people you are putting in charge of these servers as some are being very ignorant to other players.

Just yesterday, no I did not catch his name, however he was being very disrespectful to another player and I don't think the original team who opened this servers plan was for this to happen.

I get it that a lot of the EGO members play on the 24/7 locker server, forcing you to bring in admins that play on the 24/7 shanghai server, but you need to look at who you are choosing to be admin over other players closely before the server dies. It's already bad enough that the shanghai server is down a lot as it is. Only takes one person to open a competing server and everyone leaves, I have seen it happen multiple times.

I like your server and your original crew, so I am just giving you this heads up out of respect.

You could not be more wrong we have excellent admins that adhere to the rules and encourage a fair and fun gaming atmosphere. I observed the boat which include you in the red zone and spawn firing out multiple occasions. I also issued ample warnings as seen in the chat log below.

Well I do apologize for not seeing your warnings, however it does stand to the fact that when I was kicked I was not even in the red zone, but outside of E on the boarder of the south portion of the map. Just because you want free reign in the helicopter does not give you the right to choose where the red zone is.

It is a very small map as it is and sometimes a player does happen to shoot from the red zone as that is the only place they have to fire from, however, you as an admin have to make the choice to decide what to do at that point. When someone is firing from the red zone, especially on a map as small and compact as Shanghai, it needs to be examined and not blatantly told that it is against the rules and to get out of the red zone.

Hey Mericle, sometimes the admin say command "/s" doesn't really grab that much attention with players because it's mixed in there with other automated messages as well. You might want to put in a dropbox request for Battlefield Leadership to review suggesting that warnings be issued in regular chat. I personally warn in regular chat because I find it more visible, but each admin has their own discretion as to use "Admin Say" "Person Specific Say" or "Yell". Either way, I hope you still play on our servers. Most admins try to be very even handed, and communicative when in game.

Either way, i'm glad you are aware of the rules now, and hope you play with us more!

When someone is firing from the red zone, especially on a map as small and compact as Shanghai, it needs to be examined and not blatantly told that it is against the rules and to get out of the red zone.

Hello MericleWorker,

The zones for helos and boats are very different and sometimes you may not know your in a redzone but the enemy team can see that your in those zones. If an admin asks you or gives a warning to move your boat out from the uncap or redzone please do so. If you question that decision please do not blast our admins on the server or here in the forums. Please make a drop box post or pm a member of BF leadership to ask simply where those zones are and we can help with those answers. We stand behind our admins and train them to enforce our server rules. Admins that dont quite understand we will talk to and retrain.
