A good way around this is to be notably bad in several different ways. Like when devildogs banned I was like listen guys, does anyone realistically have THAT BAD aim when they're cheating? and they were like yeah we'll unban you

On a more serious note. When I did appeal the ban from devil dogs I did keep it very respectful with them and explain that I had understood the nature of their server and play style.

I was banned from COD4 server a few years ago when I was actually playing it all the time. I had apparently had too many headshots in a row(as sniper...I think 10?) and was immediately banned by a automatic mechanism. I contested and the ban was lifted in about 10 minutes.

I thought that was mildly hilarious, as I was being accused for a while by pubs leading up to the erroneous ban.

That being said, I'm glad eGO handles bans the way we do. Otherwise, I probably wouldn't be apart of it. I'm 30 and have been gaming for almost 20 years on the computer, and I'm still humbled and refreshed everyday with this community.
