Lately, I've seen a lot of threads complaining about a lack of admins on servers. Personally, I would hop on and help, but until my PSU gets back from EVGA, I'm out of the game. However, until then, I think it would help just to refresh e's (and some eG's) on just how you can find an admin to help keep servers under control.
Use cross-server chat.
There are several commands that can be used in chat to allow players to talk to admins. This chat is highlighted for the admins and makes it easier to pick out. The most common use of this is an @ in team chat (the U key by default). This immediately sends a message to every admin connected to the server. Use of this is important for many reasons, but did you know there's an option in case there are no admins on the server? In team chat, typing ann & in team chat followed by the message you wish to send will immediately send a message to every admin currently playing on an eGO CS server. If an admin is not present on your server, use the & in team chat to get the attention of more admins. It must be team chat or it won't work.
Use TeamSpeak.
If you, for some reason, don't get a response from cross-server chat, your next bet is TeamSpeak. Join our server, hop down to the CS rooms, and find an admin. If you're not sure who an admin is, look for a room that has someone inside it with a star next to their name. An admin will be in there, most likely. For best results, use your microphone when you join the channel. 99% of the time, people will be unable to view TeamSpeak messages.
Use Steam.
Take advantage of when admins are on a server with you and add them on Steam. This is the most direct contact you can have to another member of eGO CS. If there's a problem, send them a message, they should help you.
Use the forums.
This is a last resort, mostly because it will produce results slower. The forums are a wonderful multipurpose tool. You can post in the CS forums asking for an admin, which will be slow, but it'll work if nothing else does, or you can file a ban request. Ban requests are looked over every day by Leadership. If a player is being racist or breaking other rules on our servers, and you can't get an admin in time, use your own evidence and file a ban request. Logs from your console (the ~ key) or GameME will be extremely helpful.
If you have reason to believe an admin is not doing their job, you can post in the Drop Box. Leadership will review those and take appropriate action.
I'll try to be more active on servers once my PSU gets here and installed. If you don't have an admin on your friends list, or just need more, take this time to add me on Steam:

I hope some people find this guide helpful. It pains me to see the many complaints on our forums about the lack of admins, but we can't be everywhere at once. This is a very busy time of year for many of our members, and I respect those who remain steadfast and try to keep our servers punk-free.
