Bad Company 2 Weapons

how do you get some of the other weapons I see some guys using, this might have been answered before I just couldn't find it.

From what I recall, there are 2 weapons that are unlocked via Veteran status (the M1 Garand being one of them) ; Others are unlocked via class use.

Some are Vietnam kit but I don't know how to get them into HM.

As far as I know, there are 5 guns that can not be unlocked by leveling up. They are the M1, the M16 SA, the UMP 45 SA, the MG3 SA, and the M95 SA.

The M1 you get by having a Battlefield Veteran Level of at least one. This will require you to have a Battlefield game before BFBC2 was released, I believe. There are 12 games that you can buy and download to get this the status. The easiest one would be Battlefield: Bad Company 2 Vietnam. Link

The other 4 weapons are apart of the Battlefield: Bad Company 2 SPECACT Kit.

I just did some research and it looks like the old way of getting your Veteran status to work isn't an option anymore.

The old way was to go through here and verify you own 1 of the 12 games, but they changed the website and that is no longer an option. I will look for a possible solution for this, but if I can't find one, I'm not sure how you can get the M1.

Back when I started you got the M1 and the Thompson for vetern status of at least one, the spec act addon gave you 4 weapons one for each kit

This was changed, it can now be unlocked once you reach rank 10.
