I've been playing a lot of csgo lately. I've mostly been playing on classic modes, like casual, deathmatch and competitive. I've been wanting to check out one of the servers that EGO offers, but I'm not sure how to join, but I'm not sure what to expect or how to join lol. Can anyone help me with my newb-ish case? Lol

Just a side-note you don't get EXP from community servers. Here's the Medviah guide to adding servers, enjoy.

Step 1: open CS:GO

Step 2: Click on the Play button

Step 3: Click on Browse Community Servers

Step 4: Open to your favorites tab. Then go to the Add a Server button on the bottom right

Step 5: Insert the server IPs here. Outdated thread but still up-to-date on the server IPs

Step 6: This picture can do the talking

Step 7: Read the rules. Seriously, don't play the servers before you do this. Except for Deathmatch, just shoot things and admin normally.

TTT Rules

Jail Rulebook

Step 8: Have fun, seems to be the hardest step for most people

We have 3 servers on CS:GO and 2 on CS:S.

First i will go over the CS:GO servers, you have the Deathmatch server. On this server you will most probably see absolutely nobody on, almost all the time but it is basically just a regular FFA server (much like Valves dedicated servers you have already played) The IP for this server is - 173.234.28.26:27015.

Next you have the Jail server, for this server we have a thread already made which will tell you the rules rules and how to play on the server ... http://www.edge-gamers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=297632

The last CS:GO server is the TTT (Trouble in Terrorist Town) this server is by far the most popular amongst the CS:GO servers with 20+ people on most of the time ... we also have a thread made for this server which will go over the rules and how to play on the server ... http://www.edge-gamers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=285768
PS* I would defiantly suggest that you do read most if not all of this thread, as TTT can be a reasonably complex game mode to get you head around (you will pick it up after playing a few rounds of being on the server)

Next up we have a the CS:S servers. For the CS:S servers we have 2 "competitive" styled servers on the maps of the original Dust 2 and Italy. These servers are populated alot most of the time and are very fun! the IP's for these two servers are listed below ..
Dust 2 - 173.234.28.9:27015
Italy - 173.234.28.10:27015

To add these servers to your "Favourites" follow Medviah's tutorial, and just copy and paste the IPs i have listed here in this post.

In the case that that server become to load for you in the voice channel (almost all of the time). Bring open your dev console and type "voice_enable 0", then type a 1 instead of a 0 to revers this action ...

If you find yourself playing on our servers often, i would suggest you take the different admin training schemes we offer, BAT, AAT, JAT and TTTAT.

Looking forward to seeing you on our servers!
