Do you like melee?

Interesting, it used to be the bonesaw at #1... Maybe there isn't really a best melee weapon and just based on some luck one gets more powerful than another sometimes.

Just a thought.
 
Melee kills are fun. Of course, knifing is the best form of melee in my opinion, but that's what the spy relies on to get instant kills. As an engineer guarding sentries, I whack people with the wrench just because that's what I happen to have out. The scout also is known partly for that baseball bat and the work "BONK!"
 
Upon surveying this topic, I can conclude that, yea, there are blasphemers. There are those who doubt the wrench. Yea, there are those who would express a preference of a bonesaw, or other such heretical instruments, over the wrench. Verily, these people shall feel the power of the wrench in a practical demonstration.
 
If I've been playing for more than a couple of hours I usually get a little burnt out on actually "trying" and being serious. If the rest of my team can easily handle it or if I've got a few friends on the team that don't mind playing around, I'll go heavy and run around punching everyone to death.

Horrible for my stats, but hilarious to do anyway.

Also, if myself and any of my close friends (Arclight, Genus, Wingless, Kiir) or my wife get on an empty server, we usually go all-melee until it fills up, and try to convince the other players that join to do the same. They usually like it, and the only person I've seen really opposed to it was swearing and mic-spamming anyway so he got a kick.
 
BOO MEELE! I say. Once again my opions are skewed by my poorly performing computer. It is very hard to get a meele kill when they are *here*------------*up here again*------*back up here again*--------------------- *then here*---------------------------------*then here*-----------*then here*



*and some where over here when they kill you*
 
I'm must agree the wrench is a pwntastic weapon. Not my favorite overall weapon, but it is my favorite melee. And melees in general are fun and I love them.
 
some of you have probably played with me before and would know how much I like to bust out a bonesaw. But recently i would only get like 6 points for killing a heavy, while others were getting 12 points by killing a demo.

I love melee especially spy's knife...so much fun killing everyone.
But sure enough when u have low health an enemy scout will bump in to you and here we have a crazy scout running with his bat swinging all over.
 
Ask anyone who has played w/ or around me and they will tell you - medic bonesaw = win.
 
Last night there was a sniper on Dustbowl named "LIL THE OL' CHOP CHOP." He ran around using his machete almost exclusively to kill people, and was surprisingly good at it. He was pretty funny until he started getting annoying to his team after switching to Engineer and semi-griefing. I think someone kicked him, but I can't remember who.

Still, it was funny seeing a sniper, of all classes, running around tearing people up with melee.
 
melee is great fun except when captain calle is owning u as a heavy with his 1 hit fists on sun set town!!! grrr dam crits !! lol
