Hey guys, I'm busy writing some more articles for Legend. This time I want to hear your opinions and feedback.

Are you buying No Man's Sky?

So far I am undecided. It's a bit steep in my price range. I also hear the PC version has some bugs to iron out.

Does the game interest you?

I highly enjoy other space based exploration games, like EVE online and the Mass Effect series, so this game does appeal to me.

Have you ever played a game similar to No Man's Sky?

What are you looking forward to?

Discovering new worlds, building up my ship and just overall exploration

What are your hesitations?

Initial release bugs are holding me back. I'm more likely to pick it up during a Steam Sale (Christmas)

At some point in the future I want to.

Does the game interest you?

Yes. I enjoy games that involve infinitely generating worlds or content, the genre typically doesn't matter.

Have you ever played a game similar to No Man's Sky?

Does minecraft count? With the aspect of building and destroying I'm going to have to say minecraft, I also did a trial of EVE online which was fun. Other than those two I don't know any other games that come close enough to No Man's Sky.

What are you looking forward to?

Flying as far out as whatever limitation that comes in first will let me. I could spend a day just flying from planet to planet just looking at the artwork of the game and all the different variations each planet could have.

What are your hesitations?

The reviews of the game, most of the reviews I have seen are making the game look rushed and repetitive. I would more than likely wait till Christmas sale like iSimon or pick it up once they fix some of the bugs.

UPDATE: I am still thinking about getting it, I still don't know even with all the Youtube videos that I have seen about the game and following a few youtubers that have given updates about the game. I will eventually get it, I am just going to wait a little longer.

Does the game interest you?
I think that it is a cool game and interesting way of how the game functions.

Have you ever played a game similar to No Man's Sky?
Rebel Galaxy was one that I played a bit and enjoyed, almost the same concept, but not quite.

What are you looking forward to?
The online aspect at some point. A lot of people hate that it is not online. More objectives other than mining for materials and getting your ship, weapon, and other things upgraded.

What are your hesitations?
Online, I think that they are not going to get that rolling anytime soon. As well as what I mentioned about more objectives so it is not as repetitive. If someone can finish the game in 40 hours or less is quite annoying imo, I think that they should have made it extremely hard to get to the center of the universe, like have it to where someone would have to spend minimum of 200 - 400 hours getting to the center of the game. I want to have this game be an endless game so that I have a good time doing 5-6 hours a day on planets. solar systems and whatnot. That is one thing that I think won't be part of the game til enough people say something about it.

I know that you are able to just go to the systems that are not to the center and spend the time just going around in circles but they need to make it more interesting. Multiple streamers that I watch are having a hard time talking about the game now that it has been out for the last week. I think that they should have a huge patch to where it would make it harder to get to the center and add things that people have been expecting pre-release.

Enough ranting, I could do this all day lol

Yes, the Mass Effect series (Heavily might I add.) and Star Citizen
What are you looking forward to?
First and foremost, it's COMPLETE. The game has in all essence finished development. So bugs, lag, etc.. Will be to a minimum. I'm excited to have a game where I can explore a massive universe and actually be able to go down to a planet in-game to get out and explore on the ground instead of only being confined to my space ship.
What are your hesitations?
Feels and looks like a poor man's star citizen, and I'm afraid it just looks a bit too cartoony to my tastes.

Does the game interest you?
The exploration aspect does seem fun and interesting. The scenery and artwork look quite relaxing and enjoyable.
The way the game is laid out makes you question your purpose in life and the game universe.

Yes, I've played Starlancer, Freelancer, Pirate Galaxy, Elite Dangerous, Star Citizen Alpha, and that's all I can remember off the top of my head.

What are you looking forward to?
As I've said before, the exploration aspect. I'm also interested in where Hello Games will be taking the game next with their promised features (base building, etc.).

What are your hesitations?

• Some players report that many things look similar from planet to planet.
• The game may become boring fast because of the above reason.
• The game does not let you fly too close to the planet surfaces.
• The controls on PC are reportedly annoying and wonky at best.
• The lack of content so far (besides exploration).
• The game is darn expensive for an indie game made by 10-15 people.
• Sean Murray not being honest about what he shows and talks about.

  The ending is underwhelming: Got to the center of the galaxy? Great! Now do it all over again in a different galaxy!
