I plan on buying Diablo 3 and I'm going to hold off on buying the Reaper of Souls Expansion to see if I even like the game after that. My question is, after I beat Acts 1-4 on Diablo 3 and buy RoS for Act 5 and the other DLC content, will I have to start the game over and beat Acts 1-4 again with RoS, or will it just pick up where I left off?

You can pick up where you left off, i would wait until xmas to buy the game tho as it does go on sale. Not buying ROS really cuts back on a lot of the game play, however i wonder if DIablo has friend mode or w.e thats called that they implemented in sc2 where if you are grouped with a friend you can play the DLC you do not own. I would look into that.

EDIT: by picking up where you left of i mean that as a non seasonal character. Those never get reset and your items will be there when you upgrade. You will not be able to make a seasonal character because thats a ROS DLC. After every season your seasonal character becomes non seasonal. I dont play non seasonal some people do, just clarifying.

Buy them together. I waited a few months and got it on a deal as well. You just continue the game when you buy Reapear of Souls.

Thanks for the advice. The new league in Path of Exile is coming out soon so that can hold me over till it goes on sale.

I would also highly recommend playing with a friend who wont spoil the story or rush you. It adds a lot of fun to the game playing with others *specially when they die stupidly xD*
