I am a Ex member of EGO from way back. I used to play Day of Defeat a lot and really enjoyed gaming on the ego servers. After my computer crashed even though I bought a new one I mainly stuck to consoles. I am back gaming on pc and I enjoy battlefield but something has to be done with your servers. I get on and its a constant lop sided victory. If you get stuck on the team that has no idea how to cap objectives you can't get off because you can't switch sides. There should be some balance if the same team is getting steam rolled over and over again. I mean loosing by 900 tickets or more is not fun especially over 4 rounds in a row because people are not even playing the objectives. My team on every map would not have any flags but 1 flag and the only reason we would have one flag is because 2 or 3 of use were the only ones holding it down but once we tried to move to another flag we would lose that flag and and get spawn trapped again because the rest of the team were camping out in the middle of no where playing tdm on a conquest server. There should be a switch up every round or every other round to shuffle people around so you are not stuck on the same team like that over and over again.

Hey truffle,

Firstly welcome back to gaming on eGO and secondly I am sorry for your experience in our server.

In terms of players not playing well, that is unfortunately the way it can be sometimes. Players just do not understand how to play as a team and work together in taking objectives. Some are in it for the kills and K/D, others for the points. I must admit though that there have been cases of where games have been won by just 1 ticket remaining, so keep playing whenever you can and that might just happen to you.

With the Battlefield Division we do everything we can to make our servers fun and enjoyable for all. Unfortunately it is common to see games with a 900+ point difference because players in the game are just that good. No matter how much the autobalancer moves people to help balance the game, people will always be leaving and joining and disrupting the balance of the game. That is something that is out of our control. Since the Battlefield 4 Summer Patch of 2015, DICE removed all custom Autobalancers and replaced them with their own. This was done to increase the fairness in games and keep balancing as close to "50/50" as possible.

When the autobalancer starts it does move a fair few people if it sees the game is completely lopsided. Unfortunately when someone is moved, they can sometimes speak out in chat and leave the game in an unhappy state and disrupting the balance of the game.

If you feel have any ideas/suggestions for our servers, please do not hesitate to use our DropBox service and a member from Leadership will review in due time.

Again I am very sorry for your returned experience across our servers, but it does and will get better.

You can always try our other servers, I will edit the links in later when I'm at my PC but for now here's the list:

24/7 Operation Lockers
24/7 Operation Metro
24/7 Siege of Shanghai
Conquest Popular Maps

I have been playing battlefield 4 for a very long time On ps4 i have almost 1k hours put in so I understand about one team always getting stomped because its just as bad on there. That is why I think the teams should be mixed around after every round or two. That way there is always a mix of objective players and non objective players. Its one thing to be stuck on a team that only takes one or two flags but tries to take others but when they get spawn trapped every round like last night it was just bad and I was stuck there. I tried to switch at the beginning of the round but you have a rule no switching. I can understand that but I really think the teams should be switched up and mixed. I know auto balance really sucks on both ps4 and pc On pc I had my whole team auto switched leaving me by my self against 9 people the other day lol.

To my knowledge the teams are always balanced at the end of every game but due to players leaving at the end of rounds, the autobalance is sometimes rendered useless. We do the best in our power to make the teams as even as possible but DICE's autobalancer is all we can put our trust into until Battlefield 1.

I'm sure if you hop into TeamSpeak with us we'd all team up and get going in a squad or two. The best matches we play are usually together with ts as a great use of tactical communications.

The teams are mixed at the end of the round, I was playing Lockers earlier and paid attention and they most definitely are mixed up, you can see it happen.

Well these round were never changed I was on the same team ever round the Same players and even the same squad of people in my squad for 4 or 5 rounds. against the same people on the other team. There were one or two who would leave after a round but not many on those rounds. Not saying it was not supposed to happen or anything just that it stayed the same those 4 or 5 rounds.

Jump into Metro with us now and hop onto TS, we got a good few squads going :)

Epic hit the nail on the head, a few patches ago DICE decided that they would handle the balance of the servers, as the server admins were incompetent to do so. Since then any auto balancer we try to employ fights DICE's. I don't know what they use to balance the game, but I end up on the loosing side about 90% of the time now. So when the round starts, if you are on the same side that I'm on, switch if possible, if you want to win.

Well I usually try to change teams if I am getting stomped every round but your servers you cant change teams. It says you must stay on this team and cant switch. Its not like dices autobalance works either though. The other day a friend and I jumped on a server that had about 18 people. A few people left and it switch me to the other team and then switched the other guys to the other team so I was fighting 9 people by myself. I was the only guy on my team lol.
