Here is a great thread with suggestions JohnT created not too long ago. I tried out the G502 PROTEUS SPECTRUM by Logitech and it was really nice. It is 59.99 right now, I know you said your budget was 50 though. I returned mine because although it was the nicest mouse I have ever owned, I have never gamed with a regular mouse before, I use trackballs, and it was just absolutely frustrating trying to adapt.

I personally use the M570 but it obviously was not designed to be a gaming mouse, although I do pretty well with it.

A lot of people like the DeathAdder, the basic version is on sale for $39.99. It looks really small though.
