Thursday, October 20 EdgeGamers lost a dedicated and passionate Leader. Layton ?ProCombat? Means was involved in a motorcycle accident which claimed his life Thursday afternoon. ProCombat, who was a Division Leader of Garry?s Mod and part of the Tech Team poured his heart into the work that he did at EdgeGamers. Without his support and dedication Garry?s Mod would not be where it is today. Our community was also very lucky to have such a knowledgeable leader that we could rely on to help run our servers and core systems.

No one can doubt the amount of passion Layton had for our community. Shortly after earning PSC Member of the Year ProCombat was interviewed by SigmaTaurus. ?You put all your time in effort into what you love to do,? Layton said during the interview, ?I was focused on making eGO better.?

We invite all members to reflect and honor the memories they had with ProCombat. An official tribute thread has been posted in the Garry?s Mod discussion forum.

Just found out about this now and wow, horrible news to hear about. He was an amazing guy, who cared about everyone and who would love to have a good time with friends. Watched the guy work his way from e-O and then breaking bounds by making Advisor, then DL. Countless nights of playing CS, CS:Jail, DOD and to not hear him freak out when the time would call for, well, really gonna miss the guy. Rest in peace Pro.

Very late post, but even though I expressed my condolences elsewhere, I realized I had never done so in this thread, so here it is. I played with ProCombat many times and he was a great guy.
