Free Heavy Metal Machines Keys!

Haven't played much of it yet, but going off of what I have played of it so far I'd have to agree with what B Dawg said.

Also with the restricted lanes you have to go on once you pick up the bomb - the idea behind having them is nice, but I think if they weren't static and made them randomized or had more turns and/or traps on them could help make things more interesting.

I'll post an actual review when I can

Pros:
-Artwork and music are great, in game graphics are nice.
-Game runs very smooth.
-Good tutorial.

Cons:
-Movement seems a bit clunky and jittery.
-Confusing at times, hard to tell who has the bomb.
-Takes a while to get used to the abilities.
-Very repetitive; gets boring fast.
-Very easy to score against bots.

Bugs (that I've experienced):
-Controller does not work at all, very broken (beta?)
-Sound seemed to bug when trying to use controller in tutorial

Off the bat, this game seems very promising. The artwork, graphics, and music are phenomenal and create a great atmosphere while the tutorial is thorough and sets the player up nicely to hop into the first game. However, one quickly discovers that, after a few games, the gameplay becomes very repetitive and therefore very boring. Each game I found myself becoming less and less excited and starting to wonder when the game would be over. This is due to the fact that there is only one map with a set course to deliver the bomb. While it is only a beta, I would have suggested that they added at least 1 or 2 more maps to the beta to not make it as repetitive. Additionally, the bots are very easy to score on if you can get to the bomb first.

While I still have hope for this game, it feels like more work has gone into the aesthetics of the game rather than the actual mechanics. I understand it is only a beta and therefore does not have all of the features, however I would have liked to see a bit more variety in the gameplay.

Overall rating of the game: 5.5/10

Thanks Misterboy and sooperhampster. Only 4 reviews to go.

- Sora - was sent the key originally given to StealthGus but is having issues finding the download. Does anyone have a link?

Any more reviews? I'd like to show these developers how quickly eGO can help out.

they need to take off the "full controller support" icon..because, as everyone else said, it isn't very true.

the play is very similar to League of Legends, something I wasn't expecting. i'm not too big into strategies, just shooting shit or blowing shit up.

i did like the customization though, that was pretty ****ing awesome..probably one of my favorite things about this game so far. I used Wildfire a lot.

PvP dedication was present and appreciated. nothing like fighting real people.

Tutorial was pretty long, but gave me a good understanding on how to play. my advice would be to make it a bit shorter for people who don't wanna spend forever on a tutorial.

some of the skills were a bit hard to understand. i like the fact it was limited to 4 per character. that leaves the incentive of trying all of them.

you definitely gotta work with your team..and it takes a long while to get the learning curve down..but once you do, it's pretty addicting. i didn't understand the tank, pusher, carry, and support shit at first..it took me a while to understand what is what.

i did like the sponsors idea.

please don't heavily induce the game with microtransactions..which is probably gonna happen anyways..but that's ok!

all in all..8/10.

i'm definitely gonna play this again when it comes out in full force.

thanks developers/Mike for letting me try out this pretty cool game.

I think the concept of the game is pretty dope, but I feel it has been executed pretty poorly. With my experience on the game (hour and a half), it just felt way too hard to kill the ball carrier to the point where, if you won the ball at the start you basically win that round (if you don't suck at driving) ...

I also feel like it is a very lacklustre experience when having possession of the ball, I felt like it wasn't very challenging in the slightest and I would just simply win the "kick off" and just drive right to the goal without any trouble at all. I also just felt like there was just a constantly huge bundle of cars trying to keep up with the ball carrier ...

I can't say I didn't have fun for the first couple of games, but I feel like this game just doesn't have too much replayability. I would give this game a 5.5/10.
