I've been saying this for a long time, a lot of things can happen at the management level that might not be the most popular opinion, but at the end of the day, leadership has our best interest in mind. eGO is what we make of it. If you want the servers to be a better place, you have to take the initiative to make them better, and promote it, and when you start making them a better place, other's will catch that good vibe and try to help you.

It's weird looking back at my almost 7 years in eGO and realizing you have been in so many games I've played, blackhawk, from CS, to INS, to EVE even. Glad to see someone who has stuck around for so long can bring some good words forward to help motivate people in the right direction, when thing's may not seem the best.

Merry Christmas as well :)
Mayhem Congrats! Keep up the hard work, success is on it's way for you!

As a fellow former leadership, I tip my hat to your wise words.

Hey its my old buddy Sharknado :p

I had to come and say Much respect, I completely agree with B blackhawksniper . Things are never easy at the top and there's a lot of time and effort that goes into planing stuff for the members. I look back at my time in leadership and its good to see everyone past or present and hopefully future had and will have the well being of the community and its membership in mind.

Sometimes taking a break or stepping down is even for the best, the leadership job isnt easy but its worth it, and if you're in college, working full-time or both even while being at the top...lol yea i cant even...but respect to those that have. Lastly, life is too short to hold grudges or to be focused on negativity towards people or not to like certain people so dont do that guys, believe me and i learned that. most of us spend too much time together and this place is like family #2 and like all families there's going to be fights but you know you'll be together again.Uncle Medviah took all the coffee but its ok

CS will be fine, there's just a lot of shock is all , TF2 went through its own phase awhile back and its members pulled together with people like 36 & co. leading the way, now they have a crazy Pzycho for a DL :3

my time in CS was short, I transferred over at the time..early 2014? to help Magus, a friend of mine when he rejoined eGO. I took the role of Server Filling Captain for Office 24/7 in CSS, but Source was kinda fading off as the transition to GO was happening at the time and i never got used to GO, so i went back to DoDs/TF2. This is when i met Michael Bolton! (also from CS at the time) We've been friends since! and he's big shot DL at gmod now :w00t:

I love how lively you guys can get. :thumbup1::thumbup1: and I saw somewhere about a reunion night suggestion, it should totally happen btw :D #highschool 24/1 guys?

long and short eGO is awesome for making friends!

Viva la counterstike !

CS has changed a lot in the past 5+ years, it is good to have this division reflect those changes. Good post.

Hey guyyyyy. Look at you coming in here like you were leadership or something :P

Yeah I guess I was something like that. If I was an advisor for jail, was I really an advisor at all? A question I ask myself every day.

Blackhawksniper is a legend... brother legit talked about you when I mentioned to him I joined eGO, because he was part of eGO way back when he played video games and he said you were his buddie #specs

You are user 256, he is user 800 something :P Slightly before his time.

haha

Back in my day *oldman voice* we had edgegamers.us, which became edgegamers.us and .org once TF2 came out. CSS was .net and we had 3 seperate websites until we all moved to here. Those were teh days

Were they 3 separate forums? That sounds like a nightmare to manage. I came around in 2009 with insurgency, joined the forums early 2010, so I missed much of the early days madness haha.

Yea that was late 08, early 09 I think?

GardenGroveVW @misteradam when did we merge all the forums together?
