Why do people spam MEDIC !!! in TF2 ?

If you really have to complain about it, then you must have been playing with some really bad medics. Whenever I play medic I don't prioritize on one person at a time. Everyone gets healed, from scouts all the way to engis and spies. Mainly because healing is almost always a very short process for me, and that 50% health boost is incredibly useful. The only time I'm not healing just about everyone is when I have someone ubered.
 
Well, I DO press the medic button often, but the only times I press it and don't need it is when I respawn just after a medic and he runs in front of me, un-ubering, without knowing i'm there.
And the mic is used to say: "Thanx doc" with the british accent of the sniper ^_^
Thanks to all of you who play medic, a class I'm not good at.

What I dislike, however, are the people who look at the board, find out that we have no medics, and start asking for someone to change class to medic. If you want a medic on our team, listen to what nike says: Just do it ^_^

I agree 100% on that one, i am trying to get good at some classes that i dont normally play and the medic falls under that category. I have to agree w/ booster with the QB thing i mean w/o him your team can almost forget about winning if the other team has meds.

The worst thing is a person spamming Medic with full health. Who knows, maybe those people are hypochondric?

IIRC, Spy has always 3/4 health displayed when you look at him, unless some Medic healed him up :P
 
It's a half, actually. That makes it pretty easy to spot 'em, especially engie spies, who typically spend too much time next to their dispensers to have anything less than full health.
 
As a medic player, I find this to be the most frustrating part of the job. Just remember that the next time a pyro sets them ablaze, you always have the option of bonesaw taunting as they die from their burns.

It's a double edged sword. It helps me find my way to the front lines after respawn, but most people won't say thanks or save my German ass from a crit rawket. No excuse for medic deaths! :(

On these servers I don't have that problem all so much.
 
If your spamming medic and I'm the medic be prepared for all forms of spy checks possible first :D but if I realize its just you spamming medic for my uber I'll follow you barely THEN LEAVE YOU teach you a lesson :D
 
That is one thing I did not mention. If I announce over voice that I have Uber who wants it?, and no one responds by voice, it is acceptable for someone to spam medic if they want my Uber.
 
Sometimes I spam medic on accident. Iplay with all the lights off to reduce glare so sometimes I'll miss the 'W' and keep hitting 'E'. While we are on the subject of calling medic a few times I see myslef call medic but I didn't hit and it sounds far off. I'm assuming this is a spy but I've never heard this as a spy detection method.
 
people totally spam the e key; I mean, as soon as people spawn they start tapping that e key like they're afraid of being blown up as soon as they leave the spawn room.
and for people wanting our ubers...please don't 'assume' we are going to uber you just becaus you are there; we might be waiting for a more appropriate class (demoman! !heart ) to uber. I mean, as a medic we like soldiers, really, but in more of a friend way !lol our ubers are for real classes :p
 
eh i just spam medic because it makes me feel like im doing something and that it will help prolong the time to my death. and maybe someday ill actually get a medic lol
