Hi Everyone,

My first ever thread on the eGO Forum since I joined... 9 years ago.

I was playing on avalanche 24/7 and a player would just keep impersonating other players and it was sooooooo obvious that he had a hack...
how can you possibly have 100+/16 k/d ratio with a support...

The problem was that
1. everybody noticed it
2. no admin was here to take any actions

I think we have excellent servers and must promote friendly user experience, friendly people... and therefore sometimes take radical decisions.

Goodnight everyone

Hey Leutnant,

Unfortunately admins can't be on 24/7 and monitor the servers, so we don't always get a chance to see these things. The good news is, you can help. Take a look at this thread here on how to record a demo. If you see a suspicious user again, follow those steps, and then fill out a Ban Request. Leadership will take care of it as quickly as they can. We do try to keep the servers as clean as possible, but sometimes we can't be there to get everything. Thanks for keeping an eye out and enjoying the server :)

Hey man, I was online when you were on. I handled the issue in regards to this player.

Try to add as many admins to your friends list as you can, and hang out in Teamspeak (Room 5 is mostly used, in DOD:S). There is almost always someone on, or someone in TS that is willing to help. But thankfully Indy was able to get him this time. The game was on sale, I think for $2, so expect lots of cheaters, if it was up to me, I would make the game 19.99 haha

Thank you everyone.

The guy did play for at least 2 hours although there were admins sometimes connected, this is why I started a thread. He would change is name again and again, same as other players, which may have complicated actions.

When I left axis were winning 20 rounds to zero o.0
2$ ?? yea we can expect newcomers with no respect for the game. I will follow the steps you indicated. Please accept me as friend hahaha

I was on the server for quite some time while he was playing. I never ban someone in haste as some people are just plain fast and have a deadly aim. I was recording a demo when I was first alerted of him last night. I logged for a bit to post it and eat some dinner. I follow basic rules of recording a demo and posting it for leadership to review. However when I logged back in a little bit later after dinner, and I seen his aim going frantic and instantly getting HS with a 180 spin HS and headshots through walls..... it was very obvious what he was doing and appropriate steps were taken. Like He@d$hoT said, with the game at $2.00 I imagine we will see alot more of this in the coming weeks/months. Luckily DoD:s has alot less hackers coming in and disrupting so it's not often that we see a blatant aim botter floating around.

It is such a shame too, because they will never know their real potential as gamers, and will only ever be cheaters:( so sad for the life they will live short of integrity. It is no wonder cheaters are typically the ones most butt hurt when real hits them in the face
