Ok so.. i have no idea wtf is going on, but this is the 1st for this nonsense with Origin.

Had to reinstall Origin, because of errors, installed bf4 and bf1.. tried playing them, gave more errors, .dll ones, I uninstall all vc+++ and reinstalled them.. then Origin itself crashes.. Lol, reinstall Origin AGAIN, and both games.. still nonstop errors.. No friggen clue wtf is going on, never had this issue before, so now currently I can not play ANYTHING origin wise. I've heard there was issues with this in the past, did all the suggested things, still.. notta.. This is all on a separate drive i use for gaming too, my steam works fine etc, but anything origin hell no, About to pull my hair out -_- Been wanting to play with you all for the past week and a half.. but this is my on going issue now.. also note, i sent in a ticket to Support almost 2 weeks ago etc, never got an answer back so... not making me happy either atm.

Could be an error with Windows. I was getting something similar and couldn't figure it out either, so I did a full reformat and it fixed everything. Just a. Hassel to do is all.

Yeah that was already done as well, still got the same issue unfort. This is just weird, never seen this before ever.

May sound dumb but repair windows, if origin is running then install games and restart comp, repair games 3-4 times I had to do this a couple of times for BF4 after the win 10 install, it's like the files get so mixed up they can't get unmixed, I once had to go into my game files and remove an incomplete file that wouldn't let my game work..scariest thing I ever done as I am not a programmer at all

I've been finding issues with Origin as well. The Origin icon, any battlefield icons (BF4 & BF1), and any other game I have installed, all of their icons just randomly disappear from my desktop... On a daily basis.

Really super weird.

Update, reinstalled windows 3 times, tried installing origin 3 times, downloaded any origin games, failed again with the Dll. crap.. i give up, this never started happening til Bf1 was installed.. the friggen errors i get from origin is unreal, still waiting on "support" to get back ..

Maybe the better option is reinstall everything (system, drivers, games...) a clean install probally will solve the problem (even if you have a headache for this)

Already have numerous times, as stated in previous posts, more times than i really should. Win 10 is really touchy with some things, the anniversary addition is just cancer, I have Pro, the issue is VC+++ it don't like it being installed at all, have to make sure 2010-2015 is installed x64 x86, which it is, 2013 does not like win 10 at all. Also now have to run Origin in Admin mode, kinda weird once the BF1 download hits 32% (playable) that's when it crashes too, and the errors go nuts, i'm not even playing it, just letting it download all the way or until it crashes. I might just roll back this OS to Win 8 til the issues are sorted out with 10, not sure how well windows game OS will end up when it's released, but i have heard its not the greatest OS, which duh, imho microsoft shouldn't be making gaming OS's, since half the OS's are not even fixed yet, But anyways, will be dealing with my tech guy the next few days and see what see does and says etc.

Looking at tech forums we can see a lot of topics about the fight between games vs Win10, maybe this is your case.

Good Luck, I hope you find a good solution for this.

This really sucks.... Its exactly why i'm still running Windows 7 Ultimate. It's a very solid OS, and I haven't had any issues at all. Maybe you should consider downgrading back to Windows 7. I just figure if it ain't broke, don't fix it.

I'll prolly just do that or i'll just use a diff computer here that has 7 already on it lol, I'll just have to transfer my Vid card. I'll give this one more time after i talk to my tech guy, if he says screw it, then i'll just do that.

Every comp in this house has win 10 on it and not by choice, one by one they shut down and next thing ya know win 10 is installed, I tried to restore win 7 but it just went back a short way with win 10 so win 10 it is............

Thats why I disabled the autoupdate of windows... Monthly I check for new patches, but I review all details before the install.

Coming from MS I just stay aware about every single patch.

all 3 of our desktops are set up that way, we had to shut down because of a storm and when we restarted............WIN 10 took over, though my biggest complaint is learning a new OS, 7 was so easy to find stuff, with 10 it is either an app or an app you have to get from the store........

A lot of people raged about this, in my office only 1 PC make this update and when Win10 started to work in that machine our server started to work strange, when me and my brother take a look in logs we discovered that windows10 was trying take control of our intranet and block the server.
We formated the PC with win10 and back to win7 and the problems disappeared.

We will try stay away of new systems for some time, but change it in our PCs will be inevitable.

Soon or later everyone will be forced to change to new system.

Got it finally working after a crap ton of work around in Win 10, i'll be up and running in BF1 in about a few days, make sure you have x86 and x64 2013 files for Visual C++ 2013 are the ones that currently give errors. So basically like my OS, WIn 10 pro, i have, LOL... C++ for 2010 x2, 2012 x3 (x64, x64, x86), 2013 x2, (x64 and 86), and 2015 x2 (x64 x86)

If worked now dont change nothing anymore, disable the update system (even when this isnt recommended), maybe this avoid new problems.
