Official eGO TS Permissions update - TS name must match forum name

Hello EdgeGamers,

Going forward, we are requiring users to have their teamspeak name to match their forum name.

What will happen if you do not follow this, you will get a warning in teamspeak, the next check will remove any groups you are associated with.

We require admins to not change their names ingame so we can identify admins in game, we are going to enforce this on teamspeak since we've given you the ability to admin in teamspeak.

Also, looks like this is replacing the feature that use to kick for having parenthesis in names, and that this is only affecting what we have at the start of our TS name similar to in-game?

Ex: FiReHazard772 (test)


EDIT: Also, Will it still be case-sensitive like the previous feature you were testing, or no?

If it doesn't match your forum name, it will warn you and then remove groups. Capitalization does not matter.

The tags are still not allowed.

Just an update guys,

The new update went live last night around 11 PM PST. I made some changes to allow for you guys to still be able to put things in the end of your names. The beginning of your Teamspeak name MUST be your Forum name, capitalization does not matter. Therefore that allows you guys to add things to the end of your name, I'll update you guys with new developments as they happen. If there are any issues mention me in a post below and I'll get to you guys asap.

Should at least let you do things as long as the name is somewhere like before.

I've been using a cap in my name that isn't on my forum name for sometime with no issue..unless it's still an issue, possibly I just wasn't on prior to when they fixed it.

It's not an issue, I've sat with my name lower cased random cased and everything in-between cased, nothing is happening. FirezFury , no idea what you experienced but the bot lower-cases the usernames (both TS and Forum) and then compares.
