The Team Fortress 2 Group offers a variety of events: fun ones, competitive ones, and many more everywhere in between. As our roster of Event Coordinators (ECs) grows, so will the variety of events we offer, along with the frequency of these events!

BlackMesa Sunday
BlackMesa Sunday is, as the name suggests, held every Sunday. BlackMesa is a 5-CP map (made by one of our community members!) with a Half-Life theme. There are two versions of each map, with it alternating every Sunday.
Dodgeball
Remember how you used to play this game in gym class? Now relive those moments, only with crockets instead of balls! Two teams compete on special maps to attempt to eliminate each other by airblasting rockets at each other.
Karaoke Night
Occasionally, we'll host this event in Discord! In this event, you take the (proverbial) stage and sing a song of your choice! This event lasts anywhere between an hour and two hours; this is one of the more popular events, so the extended length of it lets everyone have their turn at the mic!
Impromptu Stuffs
Sometimes, an EC wants to host a random event of a random gamemode; this is certainly not frowned upon because sometimes, these impromptu events will draw a large crowd. Be it payload or KOTH, impromptu events are spur-of-the-moment callouts. Keep an eye out, you never know when an EC will want to do some random things!
Prophunt
Pay no attention to that bush over there…it’s just a bush. Don’t even look twice at it. Wait, did it move? Surprise! Pyros are let loose to find all of the scouts disguised as background props. They may even be hiding in plain sight…
Royal Rumble
By far the most popular event of the TF2 Group, this event is a showdown between the Leadership (managers and above) of the community and its members. An hour is given for this chaos to unfold; if a Leadership member dominates you, you are required to leave the server and rejoin (this rule is flexible and depends on attendance). This event also requires you be in Discord voice chat to attend
and to have your community tags! The point of this event (besides winning) is to dominate Leadership to claim prizes. If you dominate a Leadership member, screenshot it to post on a thread to be put into a prize pool! Whichever team wins the Royal Rumble determines the next map to be played.
Payload Night
As the name suggests, this event is primarily Payload maps. An EC may choose to stay on one map for the entire event or call a vote to choose the next map! Generally, this event will be played with the default settings on our servers. Keep an eye out for these for some good ol' fashioned Payload!
Rat Maps
'Rat Maps' are unique maps that are large-scaled; players are tiny compared to map props, be it a shower in a bathroom with a shower head being in the skybox or a table being a huge obstacle to play around. These map tend to be wacky and fun to mess around in! Most are built to be control point oriented. These events tend to be casual and fun, so keep an eye out for them for a loose and silly event.

Events Code of Conduct
All EdgeGamers Organization rules are in effect at all times in events.
Event Coordinators are in charge of events. Please obey their instructions and do not argue or interfere with them. They and they alone are solely responsible for the administration of events.
Event Coordinators are the admins in charge. Let the EC’s do the admining while on the event server.
Some events utilize mods and/or commands. Please refrain from complaining about these; their purpose is to maximize the enjoyment of the attendees and are chosen by the EC.
You garner recognition by attending events! Your decorum and degree of participation determine if you are recognized in a positive or negative manner.

Karaoke Night Rules
Gamers everywhere! We are glad you have chosen to partake in or have shown interest in our Karaoke Night!
To help keep the event fun and enjoyable for all, we have a few rules that must be observed.
Firstly, The event is open to the public, HOWEVER, during your entire time participating in the event, and after the event, we expect you to uphold the following rules.
We host the event in the eGO Discord. Everyone may join the channel, however, you will notice you can't speak in the room unless you are "on the stage". Anyone may request to join the stage, but access to the stage is controlled by the event hosts. By being in the room, not just on the stage, you are agreeing to these rules.
Keep your mic muted while others are singing! We are a large community with many individuals who may be singing for the first time for other people. Especially strangers! Please have Push-To-Talk enabled or have it muted while it is another person's turn. Failure to do so will result in being server muted, or other actions as deemed fit by your event hosts.
Songs MUST Adhere to eGO Guidelines. Common sense! Of course, you can swear (as long as it's not excessive.) All and any slurs are not appropriate as this is an EGO event, and we shall ALL follow EGO guidelines. Intentionally disrupting the event will be handled at admin discretion. Think before you say!
Please keep your songs under about 5 mins. As much as we all would love to hear Bohemian Rhapsody, we do need to give a chance to all members to participate in the event. Remember, this is a community event! There are no spotlight solos!
Please let people know when you are done singing. So, Drop the mic, leave with an outro, make it memorable! Please indicate in some way reasonable that your song/turn is over so we may move on to the next person!
Only your hosts may control the Discord Music Bot during the event. You do NOT have to use the bot, you may sing a capella, But should you wish to use the bot, please allow the hosts to do so, and message the host controlling the bot with the link when you queue.
Now that we got that out of the way, Have FUN! this is one of the most important rules!
If this is your first time singing, make sure to let the hosts know, and you get a fancy award!
