A good or bad warden is the difference between people staying on the server, becoming regulars, and possibly joining edgegamers or just leaving and never joining again because of a repeat bad experience from overly strict wardens and trigger happy CTs.

100% agreed. The quickest way to make me want to kill a warden is to start killing people for superfluous reasons.

It's thoughts like this that end up with you on the other team laughing your head off while the warden is dead and you're demoted

A few things I want to reiterate:

• Don't kill AFKs if you as a warden still have prisoners still in cell block, just wait. You're not loosing any resources keeping them alive while you're still in the same vicinity as the AFKs
  
  
• Don't kill the prisoners for minor things while still in cell block or for accidentally doing stuff like kniving, running to catch up (if its not that far) or stepping over a line
  
  
• Try to create a semi-RP like environment
  
  
• Have fun not just as a CT but as though you were a T. If you think its boring to do something, then try something new
  
  
• Try something new and don't just redo what the last warden did in terms of activities

Everyone should read at least this one post. Many people kill AFK's well before they leave cell block and kill people for minor things like cross lines or other such things.
