Hey, you! Stop standin' around like a bloody idiot! Get movin'!

Welcome to mah moist sniopah guide, this will be filled with legit advice and sarcastic remarks. :D
With that said, let us begin.

Version 1.0
This guide will be kinda small/vague, along with missing parts until I update it further, I have an update version here for a reason. :3 I will probably upload it not complete so A. I can edit/work on it from all my devices, B. I can actually get it out by the weekend like I said I would. C. Reasons.

Sniper, basically the most overpowered class in the game. In the right hands, that is.
"Boasting" a massive 125 health points, this class is easily the most overhealthed class in game, too.
Okay just kiddin' mate. 125 HP is about average for classes. (Scout, Engineer, Sniper, Spy have 125 HP.)
In which little health he has, sniper makes up with dealing massive damage. By scoping in (Moust2 by default.), he gets a zoom and his rifle starts charging, starting at 50 damage for bodyshot and 150 for headshot, all the way to 150 for bodyshot, and 450 for headshot. The only way to survive a headshot is be under an ubercharge (Excluding Kritzkrieg.) or be a Brass Beast/Natashta heavy revved up with full overheal. I personally main sniper, and I'm here to help you not be this guy!View attachment 17018

Rusty u loosr hw duz one sniope
Type kill in console. ( ͡? ͜ʖ ͡?) ( ͡? ͜ʖ ͡?) ( ͡? ͜ʖ ͡?) ( ͡? ͜ʖ ͡?) ( ͡? ͜ʖ ͡?) ( ͡? ͜ʖ ͡?) ( ͡? ͜ʖ ͡?) ( ͡? ͜ʖ ͡?) ( ͡? ͜ʖ ͡?)

Okey now that you've killed yourself, sniping is... aim. Pure. Unfiltered. San-Aim. (Pyrocynical refrences make me ( ͡? ͜ʖ ͡?) )
Okay not really. Sniping is basically self taught aside from certain aspects, which I will explain later :3

Aim
AIM CAN NOT BE TAUGHT!
But I can help you practice. :3 Aiming as sniper can be broken down into categories: Flicking, Tracking, And "Waiting" (I will explain this with a video footage soon.)
I will work on editing aiming styles when I get footage for all of them.

Practicing Aim
Practicing aim in games can often be hard when you aren't very good at it, as most players move all over the friggin' place. That's why we have tr_walkway! :D
tr_walkway is an amazing training map, I use it personally. Link to tr_walkway download: http://gamebanana.com/maps/107794
I use it to practice basically everything. I can't really say much about aim, it's basically self trained. I might add ways how to train, but that will probably be with video examples.

Logic

Sniper involves quite a bit of game sense, such as being aware of your team, and knowing who to shoot/kill first. I will try to explain that in this section.

Team
Sniper is quite weak when alone (Spys), so being aware of your team-mates is basically essential. Although the razorback, not camping, and of course being with your team eliminates most spy risk, not every spy is a... how do I say this nicely... kek. Not every spy is a wuss, and you will encounter trickstabers, or just veteran spys. These spys will make moves regardless of your location/razorback, so being aware of your team helps. Your team can (Hopefully pyros) keep spys away and/or kill ones attempting to make a move on you. Spys isn't the only thing your team can protect you from, in general, enemy players in close range pose massive risk. Sniper is not very good at close range. (No don't mention da friggin' smg, that's overpowered garbage. 3:) Some snipers are very good at aiming and can headshot at close range, but that doesn't mean they won't miss.
You can also benefit your team by staying with them, I should have said this earlier but... Don't sit in the front lines as a sniper. xD Stay around with your engineers or team-mates that are farther away from the front lines. However if your team does need to push, you can be useful near the front lines (Rushing is a bad idea with this, try staying near cover and peeking.) by picking important enemies, such as a revved up heavy and/or medic.
Of course, this is dependent on having a decent team, coping with a bad team I will explain later.

Spahs and Sniopahs
Spys, basically dead set against snipers. Oh hey did I mention snipers? Yeah boi those guys are fun to fight too.
Spys usually focus snipers since they camp so much, making easy kills. However some spies will still attack snipers regardless of movement due to snipers being weak in close range.
Countering spies isn't too hard, but that's for later, as for this is merely logic about encountering them. Being aware of how spys think is incredibly useful. Most spys will run if you are not alone and they have been damaged, so obviously, where do you think they're going to go? The farthest way from you? Naw mate, most spys should theoretically go for health, so when a spy cloaks away and you/your team can't find them, go to the health! Not all spys follow this, some will stay to fight you if you are alone, but remember that 2 hits from your melee (default) will kill a spy.
More on the topic of targeting, spys will almost always go for the easy kills instead of important ones. You probably won't see a good spy very often, but you will encounter them.

Snipers are another interesting counter, but again this is not on countering (Despite a good chunk of above was about countering. :v), but on how they think. Most snipers will either run or hardscope then peek when they see another sniper. However don't be fooled, smart snipers will run and attack from a different angle, this is why hardscoping where you saw the sniper previously is a bad idea.
There are snipers that also only try to kill other snipers because most snipers hardscope, making an easy target.

M'kay that's all for this section until later.

Sorry about taking so long, I've been working on it slighty all week ironically, but this isn't much for a weeks worth of work, now is it?
Hopefully I can finish it soon. :D
