Counter-Strike: Global Offensive My TRUE opinion on the TTT csgo server.

First and foremost, NEGATIVE and POSITIVE comments are NOT encouraged on this post as I will not view them and or reply.

So to start. TTT was very fun the day I joined edge gamers. I found it really amusing and glad there was a new community I could join. That was the day I became happy to play csgo. From then on, it was mostly fine, the admins were chill, and the community was growing. I haven't even been with edge gamers for that long since I am a dedicated member, but this is just my opinion. As the TTT server grew, more trolls and "toxic" players joined. As a result, there were many more problems for me such as constant RDM's, trolling, disrespect towards myself and many others. So now, I wanted to share my opinion on what could be fixed. P.S THIS IS NOT A POST TO GO AGAINST ANYONE OR ANYTHING THEY HAVE DONE SO TRY NOT TO HATE. One of the things I suggest be improved, is the admins being more strict on the disrespect rule. Rarely maybe once a day, I see someone kicked due to disrespect. However, throughout the day, especially towards me when I seem to get along with many people, there are negative comments that people say to purposely ruin my game and or mood. People call me a**hole or b***** for killing them as a T or them calling me eZ when I die without hitting any shots on them. For me, this is a big thing. This ruins my entire perspective on the TTT server especially and I feel the no disrespect rule should be enforced more. Next on, which is a positive thing, the admins. The admins on the eGO community are absolutely wonderful. Every day I hope one of the fine members of this community would get promoted and they do. We have some of the finest rule enforcers and administrators on the entire csgo community. I feel the admins play a key role in keeping many servers running as a well oiled machine. Last thing, is just something I want to say. The eGO community is something that I have learned to love and share with many people. It is an amazing place for me to get away whenever I am feeling mad sad or angry. It helps me out with many things. Even the admins help me out with real life problems whenever i need help. I felt i had to make this post just to show people how I felt on eGO and what could happen. I am not leaving the csgo community nor am I resigning from anything. I just felt I needed to express myself to let out my emotions.

I'm sorry that you are having some problems. As far as the disrespect rules go - we have never changed our rules on disrespect so if you see it, report it. Admins are people, sometimes they miss things, and sometimes they are acting on actions behind the scenes where most of the server cannot see.

If you don't see something happening - just drop box it. If you have a problem with a particular admin repeatedly not taking care of the server, please drop box that also. You can also find a leadership member in Teamspeak (almost all of the day at least one of us is active).

I would recommend adding some admins on steam friends and maybe you can point out if they seemed to have missed something. Sometimes on TTT with all the plugin runs, things can be missed.

I get it. I have had my frustrations from time to time. Even the best of us get trolled on occasion.

It's just about starting back fresh, getting back on that horse, making a cup of really good coffee and beating them at their game by not letting it all (trolling) get to you.

I was there when you were on. It seemed like everyone was just playing around, but if it really did bother you then message one of us and tell us! We will be more than happy to take care of it. Not sure when you joined but I do know last year we changed our swearing policy. I was against this but due to popular vote is was made so players could swear so long as it was not excessive and used in a disrespectful way. Although the things being done to you still happened before this rule change, I personally believe the change made it much more frequent in the TTT server. When people are allowed to openly swear they get carried away and go to far to disrespect people. These people also tend to get warnings when an admin is on and then they stop but start doing it again when no admins are present. If you see people doing this then please type record (enter any name you want) and record your game. Then you can contact me on steam and I will get back to you when I can.

Reign I may not be able to do as much as a full admin and may not have the experience as other admins but feel free to add me on steam and I will do what I can to help you out. We have the disrespect rule or a reason but also we have rules against bullying. So even if people are having fun but at the expense of another person I would consider that bullying and unacceptable. Just let someone know when its happening. Being bullied is nothing to fool around with.
