Steam names and TF2

I was wondering how some of you guys have your steam names without the EGO tags, but then when you get into game it seems to add them. Is this something that I should be doing as well? I'm more curious than anything.

I have the tags before my name

It's up to you! I sort of swap between depending what games I'm playing. On most of our Source games it does auto add it for you

Cool to know, I'm really into these type of things cause I work in the IT field. It's cool that it adds it for you, if you don't have it. I will keep it in there

Yea our admin system MAUL adds it for us in our source games. oey192 would be the one to ask about it if you want to know more.
