Well... Back in high school my best times were around 20 seconds, I used to do competitions and I have a fancy 2nd place trophy sitting around somewhere. If you asked me to do it now I think it would be around 1 minute :/ I have 3 speed cubes; Dayan Guhong, MoYu Weilong, and another one that I don't know the name of
But speed cubing wasn't my focus, I absolutely love learning how to solve new twisty puzzles. I have around 40 puzzles in my collection 0.o 2x2 through 7x7, megaminx, pyraminx, gear cube, helicopter cube, companion cube, mirror cube, face turning octohedron, 3x3x9, etc. I used to know how to solve them all, but now I'll have to get a couple refreshers from the Internet. The most difficult ones for me are the face turning octohedron and then 2x4x6, they're my favorites because solving them requires more thinking and less repetitive algorithms.
