Bad Company 2 Baserapers

Looks like there are more baserapers active the last few days on the bc2 server. Also the reaction of the admins is slow to these cases. Maybe something to put some thought to ! I can only warn or use some creative thinking but in the end only a admin can do the job or you should install a zone where killing in base is auto-kick. Also a auto afk kick would help a lot. Say 5 minutes not playing is auto-kick. Maybe something to think about.

If a player persists in entering the enemy uncap or firing into enemy uncap without provocation after being warned, put in a ban request.

They seem to come in waves...usually after a Steam sale...though I honestly suspect that sometimes it's EA dropping agitators in so some folks will abandon the servers and try their other games.

Best bet is to get names and post them (in your case, warnings too) in-game so there's a chat record, then bring them to your management in private forums. As an opposing player, I also open the map and report in public chat where the other team can find the player in their uncap.

I hate baserapers...though if the raped team hasn't been able to secure a flag for a while, or isn't dying enough trying to get out of the uncap, it can be understandable. Not an excuse, just understandable.

Perhaps it should be an automatic 1 hour temporary ban after a first-offense? And if the guy's name comes up again, increased penalties?

With the game getting so old, be careful you're not banning players that haven't "got it" yet...especially after a sale when some actually haven't learned the etiquette. I've found that some cheaters are just ignorant at first blush...and that can be fixed. It's a pretty good in-game community for those that don't frequent forums or join clans...once they get that, some become (gasp!) human! lol

Yeah the game's nearly dead might as well ban the only players left that play... makes sense.

This post does nothing to help inform our admins or leadership who is breaking rules. This simply says that someone broke the rules for entering uncaps. We cannot take action against those breaking rules if you do not provide who is doing such. Please post them in the Ban Requests Forum or even in the Drop Box. If you want a more private response then contact a leadership member of BF

1 of those names is " Battlefield26 " , he repeatedly goes into enemy uncap and rapes , plants C4 on vehicles . I just warned the opposing team he was in their uncap just a few minutes ago , asking if there was an admin on BC2 server , no response . Yesterday or the day prior he was doing the same thing , once he noticed I posted on the server he created his own squad and locked it , which is stupid , why create a squad in the 1st place .

There are many that do the same, always the right and proper game player when the admins are in action and acting like scum when there is no one to police them. He was in "respectable" mode when I was in the game.
