Battlefield 4 Need Help BF4 Freezing

BF4 will freeze about 50% of the time about 3 minutes after I join. What's interesting it seems like when my player is idle at the spawn screen it won't freeze. It's not until I start playing that I crash. Any suggestions?

My first advice would be to monitor your temperature on your graphic card.. I had the issue of getting a black screen on battlefield 3.. the application would totally freeze but was able to recover to windows.. cost me a graphic card to learn..

I had this happen in BF1 after overclocking my new graphics card. If you have any type of overclocking, turn it down. Sometimes the overclocking errors/impacts don't show up for a few minutes or even hours of gameplay.

When was the last time you blasted out all of the dust our pic's tend to accumulate

I'm not overclocking, and I just cleaned it a month or two ago. I'll jump in again tonight and see what happens.

Run MSI Afterburner. It is free and the best after market graphics card monitoring software for any graphics card. You need to tell us the GPU temps when you lock up.

I also run CPU monitoring software. Speedfan. That way, you will know if it is CPU or the GPU is being impacted. This will help you to narrow the trobleshooting.

You need to see the utilization percentage of the gpu or cpu at the time you freeze.
